I know you can do it without the extra serations. I would rather have the extra grip, for safey's sake.If I had 3 hands, I'd video it and show you how to do it. It's not hard.

What's that got to do with me idly wondering if and when Glock will add this small modification to the gen 5 guns too?Focus on what you get out of it. High capacity, reliability, ability to share mags with your carbine, tons of aftermarket parts, ect.
Those Agency Arms guns, for example run from $1500 to over $3000. I would much rather have a really nice CZ at that price. The P01 SDP custom shop model or the Tactical Sport Orange. To each their own. To me it's worth the price tag. I've come to grips just about any firearm I want is going to cost me over a grand. So I don't even worry about it anymore and just save more and get what I want. I will say I highly prefer a stippled frame and am working on getting the work done on all of my polymer guns.
Clever, but I can't see that staying on after a few good cleaning sessions, what with the solvent and all.
Why do you want 5 of the same gun? Wouldn't it be more fun to have 5 different guns?I hate front serrations.
Hence I just put money down on my 5th P99,
and not a PPQ.
5 different versions. Why do you want 5 of the same gun? Wouldn't it be more fun to have 5 different guns?
Here's a Timberwolf example. You can even put an adjustable trigger on it.
There is s really cool aluminum frame for tge glock tgat just came out too.Pod. All jokes aside. Look into Timberwolf frames and slides. They have the serrations you want and the grip angle is the same as a 1911.
The new ones are gen 3, 4, and 5 compatible. I'm looking into one when I get cash to burn. Timberwolf solves all the issues people have with Glocks and you can build it yourself.

I think this is the safest most reasonable route. I will also say a customer trigger in a Glock wakes it up a ton. But stippling is way more important.Maybe the wise thing to do is just get a vanilla gen 5 and see if I like it enough to invest money in it. Still if I knew Glock was gonna do this summer special thing with the gen 5s it would save me a lot of time and money. You all see why I'd be so curious about this right? Not to mention that doing anything involving shipping is a great big PITA with my work schedule and all.
I like it. In general I don't like the looks of uninterrupted stretches of smooth, flat metal. I like to see texture or curve of line interrupt that. Look at an F-16 for example, beautiful shape right? Its all non-stop undulating curves. Look at the M&Ps, I think they look better than Glocks because that nice scallop along the slide breaks up the lines. The serations have a similar effect, but in a less elegant, more insustrial fashion. Which is cool with me, I can appreciate pretty curves or sharp mechanical edges, but I want some detail.I actually think the front serrations on a glock look ugly. They look like an afterthought to me. Admittedly I'm not a fan of them on a 1911 either. But a G19 is super easy to rack from the front even without them?
Yeah we get it, you like the curvy ones.I like it. In general I don't like the looks of uninterrupted stretches of smooth, flat metal. I like to see texture or curve of line interrupt that. Is that wrong?Yeah we get it, you like the curvy ones.
No, lots of curvy ones are great. Is that wrong?
Nothing wrong with hogging. Is that wrong?
Curvy doesn't have to mean fat.No, lots of curvy ones are great.
Like Amy Schumer.
And Rosie.
And Oprah.
That one is cool. You can put a polymer cover on it to protect it from scratches. There is s really cool aluminum frame for tge glock tgat just came out too.

Well I like the gen 5. Thats good to know about the frame replacement though.Ok I missed so much in this thread sadly
1 the gen 5 is dumb imho
But mostly for those worried about doing anything to their frame because of resale value (come on there is almost not resale value unless you sell yourself)
and if you don't like the stippled job or a chop or remove the dumb ass fingergrooves. Simple fill out the warranty form on glocks website (there are 2 to choose from, one for manufacture fuck ups, and one for owner shit) cost $100+tax send them the frame (they also prefer the slide and mags But not needed) and two about 2 weeks later they send you a new frame after destroying the old one....
They have a nasty pinch point.Well I like the gen 5. Thats good to know about the slide replacement though.
Can you elaborate? They have a nasty pinch point.
