.475 A&M Magnum
I wonder how accurate it is. Probably not, boat anchor.

But it's simply not as cool. That's the point of this gun.Pod
I dont think I am alone un terms of how to do more with less.
A caliber that beats the 50 at a distance and being able to carry 2 to 3 times more furepower for the same weight and a lighter gun is not a small thing.
I don't think .408 cheytac is lacking in the "cool" department. But it's simply not as cool. That's the point of this gun.

Looks awesome. Does it have a real use case?

I thought about getting the 300 Norma mag, wish I reloaded. A lot of positive for that cartridge.Coolness is fine but it is also arbitrary because what is cool for someone is not cool for another, specially those who have to
carry the heavy guns and ammo.
One of the few rounds I really like is the 338 norma magnum that is a very efficient round by design and provides a lot of
firepower in a pretty reasonable package. It is also inherently accurate by design. I think of it like the 338 version of the 6mmBR.
It works really well in a huge number in weapons systems including this baby....
Is the 300 rum comparable to the 300 Norma?

They claim 1 MOA but there is no way a long recoil gun could hold a group that tight. Probably 3 MOA in reality. Which is entirely adequate.I wonder how accurate it is. Probably not, boat anchor.

It's an anti materiel rifle, in fact it is in service with the Hungarian military, which is where it is manufactured. The main purpose of such rifles is to engage and damage or destroy from long range unarmored targets such as mobile radar installations, parked aircraft and other such large but relatively delicate items. M82 Barretts were sometimes used to engage Scud launchers in the Gulf War for example. They also have a secondary role in ordinance disposal and they are occasionally used for sniping, though anti materiel rilfes typically lack the accuracy to be an ideal sniping weapon, not to mention complete overkill and very cumbersome to carry.Mag dump: $50

Why do you need that much? To make a complete spectacle of yourself at the range, that's why.
