Thanks for the suggestions. I've looking into the Just right carbines and its a possibility. I really am looking for AR platform though. As far as the DSI goes, that company can suck my nuts. Forget the bullshit they tried to pull a while back with trying to corner a market, at 1200+ they can stuff it up their ass twice!! I will never buy a single thing from DSI.

AC, you are very welcome and congratulations on the GP! Thank you for the heads-up on DSI. There is another conforming PCC maker in NY and in another thread here but I can't find it. Mine is a Gen3 JRC G9mm; paid $725 plus FUAC tax at my local table top dealer (a major big box wanted $949 for the same thing; no wonder they are reorganizing). I use it for IDPA. It is modular and some of the AR stuff is compatible. I chose not to make my own because the JRC was immediately available and cheap. I've read that some builds run into problems and I didn't want to go that route even though I have AR build experience. Other than the lack of a LRBHO (plan your reloads and no problem) the only other issue is taking it apart to clean...but you get used to that. It wouldn't do in USPSA outside FUAC land. It runs like greased snot on all ammo; polish the bolt and keep it wet on EWL. I've made some changes and I wish I had the ability to take pictures and post. If your eyes don't like open sights any more, try the Cmore railway; it's deadly and fast from point-blank to about 60 feet for me and with a 1X-6X on 6X, one and one half inch groups at 100 yards off rest. Biggest problem is it likes ammo; can't keep up with it...the XL-650 runs all the time and the brown truck was here a lot more in the two months I have dad it. I like the JRC.
