AgreedDick move.
Their business their rules
It's not a constitutional right to carry in their store. They(walmart) "asked" How many times have anyone been "asked" and still didn't do it ? It's a Constitutional right and State law there allows it. I guess I'm the only one so far that supports the gun carrying people. JUST an if...all the Walmart supporters leave their gun outside and the place gets shot up...Walmart is "asking" not to come in with open carry, it's those people "right" to open carry in that State. And save the " "they could conceal carry" I'm tired of being a law abiding citizen and having to change the way I live to "appease" others.
Shopping elsewhere != "giving in."Maybe a dick move but there are those sick of "giving in" putting up with the neverending horseshit so maybe I give them some credit
Those activists have the wrong approach.
The right approach would be to have 100 people and one going in every 15 minutes asking for the store manager
asking for protection inside the store.
Their store their rules. The Yankee Marshal who is the most pro gun YouTuber out there used to own a Martini Lounge. To get insurance in a place that serves alcohol, he was required to display a no firearms sign. So he displayed a no open carry sign and that was enough to get the insurance.
So it’s his place. His rules. Who are you to assume that you can do what you want in someone else’s place?
It's not a constitutional right to carry in their store.
But even if it were, it's also a right to yell "I want to French kiss Hillary Clinton."
And if you do that and cause those in the food court to lose their appetite, again , dick move.
The Bill of Rights are rights that cannot be violated by the government. It does not apply to private businesses or property. If I do not want open carriers in my store so that it doesn’t scare away libtards that buy my shit, I’m entitled to place that rule in my store. I’m also entitled to eject you from my movie theater for you talking through a movie. If you are coming to my wedding, I’m entitled to tell you that if you want to come and carry, make sure it’s concealed so that you don’t ruin my pictures. Not a Constitutional Right ?? What Constitution are you reading. Brick and mortar, tape or lines in the sand,do not affect the Constitution or State laws. Asking is not an order or a LAW. Asking means there are options. Laws are meant to be followed as written. (in the pure sense) I shop at Walmart but if there was a movement to Ban buying there, I would support that ban.
It appears that you are the one that needs to read up on the constitution. Not a Constitutional Right ?? What Constitution are you reading. Unless they post a sign that says "no handicapped, gay, fat, white, black, smelly, etc. customers allowed". Then we have a problem. It appears that you are the one that needs to read up on the constitution.
The constitution discusses the rights the government cannot infringe. Not private businesses. Thankfully.
Their business, their rules.
You need to learn the difference between a rule and request. It appears that you are the one that needs to read up on the constitution.

I can also be penalized and have a higher insurance rate for failure to put a no carry sign in my store. If I cannot afford the rate it is my right to prohibit the carrying of firearms in my establishment.
You didn’t even get the constitution correct, so I’m not all that concerned with understanding your version of “rule vs. request.”You need to learn the difference between a rule and request.
Not really. Maybe they don’t care if those people come in, but would rather open carriers did not?Unless they post a sign that says "no handicapped, gay, fat, white, black, smelly, etc. customers allowed". Then we have a problem.
Walmart asked people to not open carry in their stores. Those people said “fuck that” and did it anyway.
