Well, it's finally home. Purchased in late February, added to pistol permit in Ulster county on February 25th. Then the covid shut down everything. Finally got paper work May 19th from the sheriffs department with the purchase coupon. Now my background check gets delayed. FFL doesn't hear anything back for 30 days. We fill out another 4473 and re submit. Another delay and another 30 days pass. So again, another 4473 and resubmit. Another delay, BUT 3 days later FFL gets a call them I'm approved. Awesome.

Curious if your Agency Arms trigger pinches your finger when shooting. I have put about 150 rounds through mine with this trigger and my finger is basically toast when done.

Dont think that has ever happened to me. Though since installing this trigger ive only taken it out twice to save ammo.

I can’t say for his setup but I have an Agency trigger in my Glock 19 and it’s been nothing but great. No issues at all.

Finally was able to pick up my Glock 19X. First impression is what a nice handgun. Feels good in the hand. Fit and finish is nice. The metal Glock night sights that came with it are really nice. Compared to my smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 I’ve noticed some things. On the Glock 19X the amibi slide release works better for a lefty than the one the M&P 2.0. The trigger on the 19X is nicer than the one on the M&P 2.0, it feels crisper with less grit in the take up. I will say the ambi mag release on the M&P 2.0 is better than on the 19X. On the M&P 2.0 I could operate the mag release as a lefty very easily without having to swap it to left handed operation. On the 19X not so much and I will have to swap it before the next range trip. Take down was easier on the M&P 2.0 vs the 19X. Swing a little lever and the slide comes off super easy on the M&P 2.0. On the 19X the little nubs on either side of the slide are a little tough to get the hang of, and I could see if my hands were oily or sweaty that it could be tough to operate. I will also say the M&P 2.0 changeable back straps were way easier to change. On the 19X you have to swap a roll pin.
overall I’m extremely happy with the Glock 19X for my first in person hands on impressions. I find the two guns quite comparable overall and thought those were interesting differences between them. Oh and obligatory pic of the new baby.

As being a lefty I agree with you about the ambi slide release in the 2.0, still like the gun very much. Beretta APX was the nicest slide release I have felt, didn’t like the gun as a whole though. Glock Gen5 seems to be a very nice option for a lefty.
