Your tactical points are all valid, but there is one thing you're missing.

If this guy hadn't drawn the fire, it's likely someone else would have been killed instead.

It's also possible that this guy drawing the attention of the attacker is what allowed the guy who stopped him to get a shot.

I'm not saying any of what you said is wrong, just that we shouldn't discount the contribution of this guy who gave his life defending his fellow churchgoers just because he could have done better.

We could all always do better, and evaluating others mistakes is a good way to decide what we need to work on.

I understand what you're saying, I just wanted to remind everyone that the man who was killed was a hero by any reasonable definition.

It is a tragedy that he wasn't better skilled and equipped, but people in that church owe him their lives..

They are both good. Do what works best for you! If you have a place locally go look and feel them. See how they fit in your hand. Pay attention to where your finger and the trigger meet. I have seen people with large hands hold a small handgun and its difficult for them to put their finger in the proper place. That causes them to pull left or right. If you can get them in your hand and see how they feel and operate then you will know what FITS YOU!
