I said it before in a different thread, but I think it's the right call. If Trump goes after the media and left will make it appear as some sort of political revenge. They will do this for 2 reasons. One to try to bring a bad light to the Trump administration. Secondly setup the presidency for the future liberal in office to go after their political opponents. I think Trump is making the right call here, I don't like it but it is what it is.

The problem is that they have been investigating her for well over a year, with no results. They have questioned her again and again, questioned her people again and again.
The more it drags on, the more the left cries "right wing conspiracy".
Quickly and quietly investigate, then arrest and procecute.

I agree, I never expected follow through on this. Now that Trump is the guy he is making nice and building bridges, like it or not. Frankly he is going to need every bit of political good will he can get if he ever hopes to get congressional term limits and I for one think that is more important than any of his other promises.

Ill be honest, id love to see her jailed, but compared to pro 2a legislation, building a wall/immigration reform, strengthening our military, reducing foreign aid, education system reform, no Tpp, reducing corporate tax to incentivize big business to invest in America, fixing bad trade deals and nobama care, and the whole atmospee of the new administration im ok with her staying in the shadows until she screws up again.
Lowering taxes, increasing infrastructure spending and reducing the debt are mutually exclusive endeavors. If the first two happen, the third will not.
I am doubtful about the wall. He needs congress to authorize the money and I don't think he'll get it. I could be wrong.
I do believe Trump said he would look into prosecuting hillary. The news today seems to conflict with that comment.

Like some of you "I don't Like it" Butt [pun] I am very sure he is NOT done with the Hillbitch yet.
He has literally changed his stance on everything.
Not that I disagree with the changes necessarily, but MANY of his supporters want him to do what he repeated 10,000 times while running.
"Build a big beautiful wall and make Mexico pay for it."
Now he says fences in a few places and added security and Mexico will pay through taxing imports. Far cry from what he preached.
"Repeal and replace Obamacare"
Now he says hes keeping much of it. Again, far cry from his campaign speeches.
"Deport all illegal immigrants"
Now, just the ones with felonies.

I agree with most of what hes saying now. The rhetoric during the campaign would never fly, but alot of Trumpsters want EXACTLY what he promised.
Anybody that is shocked or upset by this softening of Trumps platform is a fool. There are some bright possibilites mixed in with Trumps demagogue rhetoric like Congressional term limits, rebalanceing trade, lobby reform and other such things that are hiding behind the smoke screen of dumbshit like "the wall".
