Picking up brass is indeed a PITA. Especially for me since I don't even reload it. Keep a little can next to ya, drain the cylinder, pop it open and plunk, into the can go the empties. I like it!You do not have to chase your brass is the best part of revolvers.

It was mentioned previously. But it is a valid point. Thats why I think a little .38 snubbie makes a good, chips are down, backup gun if one were inclined to carry one.Something to add about revolvers I didn't see.
Revolvers can shoot even if the barrel is against the assailant while one is in a physical struggle. Most semis will be knocked out of battery if you try it.
