Just 2 12ga shotgun shells....for my Double Barreled Biden Yeet Cannon....type of shot doesn't matter as I only intend to fire two blasts outside the house.

Agree to all of this. If a true SHTF were to occur...... A huge problem would occur because of the SHFT...

More and more City and Burb people would try to make if out to the sticks. Many, if not most of these people will bring nothing, no supplies, little in the way of protection and a whole shit load of ignorance. Can't find shelter, can't find food, can't build a fire, can't purify water.

This could turn really bad, hence the reason for a stock of ammo.

I have belt fed machine guns, a couple artillery pieces an M270A1 and an M1.........Abrams. Ooooh scary scary, the helicopter men are gonna come get me! Tomorrow I'm meeting with a guy in an alley to buy an Iowa class battleship.

Out of curiosity I spent 20 minutes searching for the answer to that but I couldn't find any official figures, just a bunch of speculation with numbers as varied from $1,000 to $3,500 to $10,000 in 1940s dollars.
I came across an anecdote claiming the cost of a 16" shell was similar to a Cadillac of that era.
If anyone knows what the cost of an American 16" naval shell was I would be interested to hear.
Complicating the matter is that there were two models of 16" gun in serviceat the time the 16"/45 caliber and 16"/50 caliber guns with the latter firing a heavier shell.

They wouldn't even have useful skills to barter.

If Bridget the VP of HR for megacorp1 wants to barter her skills for some food, she's going to have to have some decidedly not HR approved approach to the negotiation.

Living with family who are descendants of a West Point general. Lots of cool stuff in house including a couple of lamps that were made from some large artillery shell casings. Not battleship size but very cool nevertheless.

at first I thought I had enough ammo, and for the most part I do. But if Antifa and BLM continue there attacks, Im thinking I might come up short.

However, if things get really bad, I figure I can scavenge the battlefield/area and pickup ammo and weapons from the dead.

I have a variety of firearms/calibers, so Im going to be covered going forward

I skipped a training class last month because I didn't
want to drop another 1000+ rounds of 9mm and .380 between me and my wife.

That tells me I don’t have enough ammo.
