I've also never built one of your heathen calibers.
Took my new AR out to the property today.
Put about two hundred rounds through it.
I am not very good at doing a range report, but it shot fantastic. The Swampfox scope was/is well worth the money. I needed to dial it only a few clicks.
Began at 25 yards to see where I was at. Reached out to two hundred meters easily.
The rifle shoots as well as can be expected from an AR. Nothing special, nothing fantastic. AR's shoot like, well, they shoot like AR's
Gun is a wee bit front heavy, nothing much, but I can feel the weight.
The trigger is very fast and smooth.
Overall, I like the build, feels great while shooting.

Congrats on your build GOP.
Because of you, I've looked into the Swampfox optics even before I read the quoted post.
Which one did you get? The Arrowhead or Tomahawk? 1x6, 1x8, or the 1x10? And which reticle? For the price and, as you mentioned, a shit load of positive reviews I'm interested. I've been seriously looking at the Nightforce line up but that one can wait for now. Upgrade down the road.

My latest build came in at 7.8 lbs. Was trying to stay under 8 unloaded.
Due to your post, I just weighed mine. Exactly 8.1 pounds.

Question regarding the Swampfox scope. I haven’t heard of them, but I like what I’m seeing. Which model did you go with? I’d like a 1-6x LPVO, ans can’t decide if the more expensive Arrowhead is worth it for me.
