...and after the auction closed, I set an email to the high bidder telling him how to proceed. He replies with an email and the following is an exact quote of the body of his email, minus only his name:
As would any person legitimately selling a firearm, my terms included that the gun needs to be shipped to a dealer with a FFL, that the buyer must be legally eligible to receive and posses it at his place of residence and some other things. My auction terms also included that he pay me within 5 business days of end of auction ( he has until Friday), that a U.S. Postal money order is the only form of payment I will accept, and that he supply me with a copy of currently valid government issued ID. Now he wants me to accept a check and then have me send the firearm to his home and has the nerve to ask me how he knows it is all legitimate! No way I am sending him anything, no even a rubber band gun, unless he satisfies the legal end and my terms.
All the best,
Glenn B
this is my first purchase here,
How do i know this is all legit?
If send a check to your home,
Then send the gun to my home.
