There are only 4 U.S. cities where the average American can afford a starter home
The cost of a starter home is out of reach for most first-time buyers, except in these four cities.

Let’s go Brandon!!
There’s a place not far from me my showed me and it’s $2,500/month and trust me I live no where special. My mortgage on a great house is $1,350/month. I’m blown away by what things cost.Homeless and underemployed people see the incredible number of homes in the USA------142 million units exist as of 2021. All except public housing, have rents starting at $1,000/m on up...generally 1% of the value of the unit is recaptured in rent each month.
Squatting, outright violent occupation, is coming to many units in the coming months, along with food thefts,; food that is too expensive to purchase.........
The white ruse admits to 500,000 homeless, but totally ignores the vast numbers of illegals crammed into housing units at 20 persons each. Probalby 15 million essentially homeless rootless people are in the country today, ready to begin prowling...........
The math on that article doesn't line up. The median salary in the USA is around $52000. How Much Does the Average American Make in 2022?There are only 4 U.S. cities where the average American can afford a starter home

My areas average income is around $37,000/year and there is no way anyone could afford even a starter house on that salary. A small outdated house down the street from me just listed for $140,000. My taxes are high so your talking $1,400-$1,500/ month for the payment. Of both are making $37,000 that $75,000 minus the 25% taxes removed you’re talking $55-$56,000 and the payment alone is 30+% of your monthly income before car payments, utilities, food, and health care. That’s a good chunk of your income. My wife and I make over twice that salary at around $160,000/year and our mortgage is the same. We’d struggle to make that payment at that income level. The math on that article doesn't line up. The median salary in the USA is around $52000. How Much Does the Average American Make in 2022?
Per the article the most expensive of the four cities lists; Income needed to afford a starter home: $37,071
So in the entire USA there isn't a single city between 37000 and 52000? I call bullshit. Also article is from CNBC, the news of choice for the perpetual, "I'm a victim" lefties.
Tornado alley for sure. No Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi or Arkansas for me. I just couldn’t live in those states.OKC, and I suppose, Tulsa aren't the worst cities to live in. Certainly not compared to Detroit and Memphis. Problem is you'd be living in Okla-fuckin'-homa.
Tornadoes are like lake effect snow, just an occasional thing you have to deal with.Tornado alley for sure. No Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi or Arkansas for me. I just couldn’t live in those states.
Is it that really bad? Wow.Tornadoes are like lake effect snow, just an occasional thing you have to deal with.
No, the problem with Oklahoma is Oklahomans.
Ignorant, sanctimonious, hypocritical pricks they are.
Every debate with an Oklahoman begins and ends with
"The Bible says". Just another variety of NPC really.
Probably not. I am prone to hyperbole. Still don't like Bible beating okies thoughIs it that really bad? Wow.
I think the “ Yankees “ moving from NY, Boston , etc for the past few years may have driven up prices. It has happened any place my wife and I looked out down south. My lady and I have been looking at home prices in Tennessee, under $75k. Everything listed in this range is fuckin junk. No bank will mortgage any of them. Most are trashed by former tenants or gutted to be remodeled. Even mobile homes are in the same price range and conditions.
If I based my mobile home on 6acres on their prices I should get $200k for mine, that'll never happen.
