I watched Larry Sharpe speak at a rally back in Feb. Whole bus load of patriots attended. Saw it on the Mert Melfa ch on youtube. The whole channel has since been removed from youtube. He basically stated he would push for the repeal of the safeact. Said he would accomplish this within a year. About 8 months. I find it questionable as to why an unconstitutional act would take that long to remove. I just don't trust politicians period. Although Larry seemed pretty genuine.

Any politician in New York who promises a repeal of SAFE within eight months is selling you a bill of goods.
As a chief executive of the state, the most he can do is order that it not be enforced. This still leaves the law on the books for the next person who ends up in the seat.
Any attempts to introduce legislation to repeal it will be met by fierce opposition by the downstate-controlled Asembly, and such legislation simply will not pass. No amount of concessions or arm-twisting will get them to go for it.

The ONLY way to get rid of SAFE is to pick it apart piece by piece in the courts. And until the makeup of the courts change, we're screwed there too. When we have judges that are willing to use Mother Jones as a reliable source of data and even cite their "database" in a ruling, the deck has been stacked against us from the beginning.

On the whole, SAFE is a bell that can not be unrung.

Ignoring the bullshit "life-saving, common-sense" crap they like to spew, or the statement that they believe this infringement "would" become Law there are these other falsehoods:
"Clearly a function of Government" - While it may be a function of our Tyrannical Overlord to push for Laws he wants, he can NOT do it with Campaign Funds or it becomes a Campaign issue, and thus is against the Law if done in schools.
"Cheap political tricks" - code words for anything and everything the Tyrant does, but projected upon his opponent as a means of distraction.
"NRA" - Where in the article does it state that the NRA was involved in the complaint filed against the Tyrant? Oh, that's right, they need to keep pounding on the NRA with every lying breath they have because the NRA represents Law-abiding, gun-owning Americans. The kind of people they don't like.

I think the issue would be as governed hed have limited legal ability to flat out repeal a law like that. Best case he would be able to simply veto any new laws, which believe me I’d love an ally like that in Albany.

Molinaro has a better chance of losing to Cuomo by 60 points. Larry would probably lose by 70+

I'm not saying it's right, just the way I see this shit hole state.
