Only in NY. Channel 4 in Buffalo has reported it several times this morning. High praise from Indianna law enforcement as the "civilian" most likely saved many. Unusual in My eyes that the democratic controlled media would allow this. Hochul may issue a permit..but one cannot carry it anywhere in NY. (Except the bad guys)

Actually. The parent company if the mall has a blanket no gun policy so yes it was technically a gun free zone

I wonder if the mall will re-evaluate their policy considering they could have had a real bad situation or if they will go after the good guy for violating their policy?

Private businesses may restrict or forbid firearms on their properties. However, signs prohibiting concealed weapons in private businesses do not have force of law in Indiana, although refusing to leave such a place for carrying a weapon, if requested by the property owner, would constitute trespassing. However, a 2010 law prohibits employers from discharging employees for in-vehicle firearms possession on business property.[11] Furthermore, an employer may not ask any employee about the possession of firearms and/or ammunition.[12]

"I don’t know who needs to hear this but when a 22-year-old illegally brings a loaded gun into a mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR-15 after he already killed three people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of our implementation of the Second Amendment,"

She's right. Multiple people should have been freely armed.

They'll probably double down and post bigger signs - you know maybe the bad guy just didn't know it was against mall policy to come in and shoot up their customers.

I wonder if their gun policy was influenced by their insurance policy. If so, I'd love to see the families of the victims sue the shit out of the mall owners and the insurance company...well, want them to sue regardless.
