Amateur. I would've put 10 in the head from 50 in 7 seconds flat.Let's see, 40 -50 yards, 15 seconds, 10 rounds. Will this appreciably alter the 3 yards, 3 seconds, 3 round average for defensive responses? lol

That first bite must have been a very big surpriseAmateur. I would've put 10 in the head from 50 in 7 seconds flat.
What’s the 1.25 hit factor?
You have to start while eating lunch in a food court setting. and there are 100 targets out there, only one of which is the one you're looking for.Everyone should try the Dicken drill this weekend.....
10 rounds cold into a B8 at 40 yards in 10 seconds
This does not negate our Right to keep and bear a gun for self defense. One of the people shot to death by a gunman at Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana, Sunday was carrying a handgun that he never had a chance to pull
You got to give it to the kid, he saved how many lives while risking his own. From 50 yards away he could have easily just ran out. This is the definition of "a hero"
@OnSight Firearms Training has been preaching 25 yard B8 drills for as long as I've known him. What's the longest distance in your home? how long is a supermarket aisle? IMHO anyone only practicing 3-10 yds is severely limiting their own capabilities to problem solve these more complex issues. Any good firearms instructor that's not a FUDD is teaching longer engagement distancesLet's see, 40 -50 yards, 15 seconds, 10 rounds. Said 9mm glock. Not sure which model, but odds are probably a 19.Out of curiosity do we know what handgun he used? Have not seen it anywhere in the news

Or a 26, 43x, 48, 17 or 34 or 45. I curious as to which. Since he is 22 and one can not legally purchase a pistol until 21 years of age that puts him with roughly 2 years of pistol shooting experience at best. Since many new shooters hit low with Glocks I’m curious as to which model and if he had taken any classes. To hit a target with roughly 80% accuracy at 40 yards is quite good for a newer pistol shooter.Said 9mm glock. Not sure which model, but odds are probably a 19.

Possibly I suppose. I would like to know more as I find it fascinating. You do realize he could have been shooting pistols his whole life?? Like he can shoot other people's handguns, or been gifted one by his parents, or any number of other scenarios
Grandfather taught him.. When did he start shooting. .. anyone's guess ....Grandfather could have started him at 15 years old. Maybe younger.Or a 26, 43x, 48, 17 or 34 or 45. I curious as to which. Thats great you posted that. Im afraid of what my embarrassing performance would be but im willing to try. Wont be to the range for a a week or so thoughI went and tried it today.
The Dixon Drill.
45 yards
On a timer random beep
not using a support
only hits counted were on body and one was on the line.
The one with the red dot surprised me. I thought that would have been better than open sights
I had no idea either that’s why I tried. I was surprised that I got off 10 shots in under 10 secThats great you posted that. Im afraid of what my embarrassing performance would be but im willing to try. Wont be to the range for a a week or so though
Speaking for myself, its not the time that would hamper me, its the hit percentage at that range. I know my capabilities and with that much at stake I personally would not have taken that shot.I had no idea either that’s why I tried. I was surprised that I got off 10 shots in under 10 sec
Taken that course at least 6 times. Will be taking it again very soon.Gotta get into another Accuracy and Accountability class with @OnSight Firearms Training and touch up those perishable skills
