There are protected classes of people under the current law (ADA). Just as you may not refuse service to a wheelchair bound person you may also not refuse service because of any other medical disability. This is also specifically mentioned as an upfront exemption under the EO, so at square one the mask is not required.Why this has to be so complicated.
Businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone for many reasons. Once they ask politely anyone they do not want people there w/o a mask spreading germs (or any other behavior they consider not good) what re people going to do, fight? Move on and find another store who does not
care about the covid, mask or whatever the issue.
Employees are not there to enforce but to inform, the police or security is there to enforce when someone is asked to leave
a private property.
