I am not following what you are saying now but I was agreeing with your original point. People don’t burglarize a cops home or try to rob him personally because they could get killed. The same happens in red country homes and with the citizenry out in the street. Burglaries are rare. In blue country homes like in Long Island, burglaries are common. In NYC, personal robberies are common. There is no fear of death.
It doesn't matter who kills who. The end result for the dead person is the same.
But what does matter is if they have the costume of legal immunity on.

Two separate things. Law enforcement will investigate the rape and murder as they should.
Those roof top guys were there just to protect their property and lives as it is their right granted by the constitution.
One of the many things oathkeepers does is to provide help form professionals like ex military, leo, fire, medics, etc.. to go and help
citizens with tactics, intelligence and support to help them defend their properties and lives.
They went on roof tops during Katrinas aftermath and had federal agents pointing their guns at them so that was a big deal
and offense to the organization until they finally understood and their superiors ordered a stand down.
You just don't point guns at innocent citizens that all they are trying to do is defend themselves.
The key here is good communication so the law enforcement knows where they are so there are no mistakes between who is there
in good faith or who is there to take advantage like some thugs trying to exploit the situation.

But a return to tribal type cultural morality enforcement could be just what the future needs!

Of course laws are needed but I thought their job was to serve and protect ?
Like when we ask an officer for directions they are normally very nice and don't say: go to the information office, I am here to enforce the law!
Or when civilians and LE enforcement work together as one with the same goal like a massive search for a missing person. Nobody cares who has an uniform or not, it is all for the good and benefit of the community.
So I think, practically yes people cannot represent the law but I do belive in essence the role of the law enforcement goes far beyond
of simply enforcing laws. ..or maybe I am not being realistic.

I would love to see this in all departments that are in the Libtard ran cities., all the city's that the elected elite are treating the cops like douche bags.
Cops all across the country are losing their lives and getting seriously hurt because of the policies of these mayors and the lib governors. After these policies are put forth, the elected masses are turning their backs on the departments and the officers.
Pulling the police out of the cities only hurts the law-abiding citizens of those cities.
The mayors and governors are filthy rich and can afford private security forces who, coincidentally, are exempt from the very firearm laws we must endure under.
These cops, rather than turn their backs on the people, should be enforcing all of the draconian laws on those who decided to enact them.
