Sharpe is using the 2A community to get 50,000 votes. Why reward Sharpe for his lack of candor? A better protest vote would be a write in campaign for a real pro second amendment patriot, maybe someone the likes of Livingston, Dr. Evil, Willjr75, or even a Donald Trump jr. to send a message that could have a secondary benefit to tick off FUAC. If that message got legs ....

You are correct Sharpe has, of late, been on a tour but the infringements of the SAFE ACT was not a priority or even an issue of mention with Sharpe while he was the Region 8 alt Chair of the Libertarian Party, while he was capaigning for the party's vice presidential nomination in 2016, or on his campaign website when he started his 2018 gubernatorial run. This Sharpe SAFE act campaign is a new tact for him. His personal priorities were always Prison Reform, 2nd chances for non violent felons, and decriminalization of most drug use, posession, and sales.

So what you are saying is his main goals have already been stated on other campaigns and now is focusing on more local concerns to add to his other priorities

Like it or not, the Libertarian party will always be the Democratic party's best friend since they are more aligned with the Republican party and take away Conservative voters.

If this Sharpe guy really cared about our rights and really wanted change, he would have ran as a Republican and beat Molinaro on being the nominee and restore the party to what it should be. There's no way in hell that he doesn't know that he will be splitting the vote.

He's doing this for himself.

Granted the chances of a Democrat winning is damned near 100 percent but a chance does exist for us as slim as it is. Astorino only lost by 500,000 votes. Many of those 500,000 votes were no shows. Those chances are now zero if a Libertarian runs.

Again, in 2016 and 2017 Sharpe was touting rhetoric that he hates guns, and wished they did not exist. In his 2016 Libertarian debate he countered pro gun responses with some " tyrannical governments are overturned with your voice and feet instead of or before guns" line. Early in his 2018 NY governor run his website and literature contained NO information on the SAFE Act or 2A and his site had links to a Libertarian "I hate guns but" article. This is all a new act for the non gun owner, ex school teacher, NYC Sharpe after Bill Weld's endorsement.

At least with Molinaro his 2A and anti SAFE actions have been consistent even though his voice has not been loud. In fact FUAC is screaming Molinaro voted pro 2A thirty two times in the assembly and did more against gun control as County Exec.

Different tactics here. I am voting for Molinaro since he is a better candidate, I trust him more than the new improved late 2018 Sharpe AND I am voting for Molinaro along the CONSERVATIVE line "as a go fuck yourself to [sic] the the candy ass rebublicans in new york ."

That'll show them. I tried that last time with Rob, and we know how that worked.
