I actually just got a gear tree finally. Should get here Thursday. It's a really nice one.
Little sparce and I still have to push it into the closet after doing some spring cleaning. Tis the season for decorating though, and I do love pine.

Love the true north hanger. Again it shows how USPSA competition drives the industry.

It’s good to have something but when you get the chance, try scooping up a nicer carrier than the AR500 Veritas. Did you buy it in one of their bundles with their steel plates?Little sparce and I still have to push it into the closet after doing some spring cleaning. What do you suggest? I like the mobility. I have a smaller frame to begin with. I’m XS Rothco jacket wise and Medium Short on the pants despite being avg height. Everything else is huge on me because my waist is more tapered than it used to be. The veritas fits fairly well on me.It’s good to have something but when you get the chance, try scooping up a nicer carrier than the AR500 Veritas. That’s all good, there are plenty of carriers out there that will fit the bill. You’ll be surprised when you get a nicer carrier how it feels. Do you have plates yet or no?What do you suggest? Most people wear 10”x12” plates, that’s the normal size for the majority of people. There are some people out there that buy the wrong size plates and don’t know what they’re doing and set themselves up for failure. Have you measured yourself and all that? Not yet. One of the main things that plenty of people screw up are how the carrier sits on them, let along plate size. Before you even go PC (Plate Carrier) shopping is you need to know what plates you need. Most likely it’s 10”x12” but just to be sure you should measure and check. The very top of the plate should line up with your jugular notch. Then the bottom of the plate should be about 4-4.5” above your belt line (close to your belly button. Width should be pretty much nipple to nipple. The veritas fits me with the dummy plates but I can take whatever measurements just let me know.

I can almost bet right now that the Veritas is slightly too big for you. It’s slightly too big for most people. Because AR500 carriers don’t come in sizes. They make their carriers one size…the size that will fit ALL plate sizes. So they oversize them to make sure they can fit any plate you want in them, that’s not what you want. You want a pc that is made for your size plates. So you don’t have extra fabric and bulk.one sec I’ll get a pic with it on.

Yupppp…it’s too big.

What size then given I'm using 9.5x12 dummies in the Vertias?Defense Mechanisms MEPC
There are plenty of nice ones out there. Like @Edwardteach72 mentioned I run a Defense Mechanisms MEPC (medium). It’s very modular and you can suppose to run it completely slick or buy additional pouches, different cummerbunds to fit your needs.Alright well it's mostly a cheap carrier that fits the bill Airsoft wise. What exactly is wrong with this particular one, and what is an example of one that would be good to try?
That’s a medium in most carrier sizes. What size then given I'm using 9.5x12 dummies in the Vertias?

All depends on what plate size is right for you. You have to measure yourself first to be sure. One of the soft roll up tape measure’s come in handy, especially when you get around to doing measurements of your head for the proper sized brainbucket.Right but given how it's landing on me, should I be shooting for a medium MEPC wise? Or should I go to the small?
