So Just an update 4/22/19 Me and the wife were in Florida , She applied in person at a local tax office for her Florida CCW permit. Today in the mail she received her permit , Less then 4 weeks later we have her permit , I look forward to the day I get to leave this place behind and live FREE

You are not free if you have to ask for government permission to exercise a right, pay a fee every certain number of years and PAY for fingerprints in order to exercise your rights. It is still much better than New York though, good luck in semi free Florida.
