Oh, oh, I get it now. "Screed post" referring to the previous long posts got it.
I thought I was missing out on some in joke or something.

A screed is a like a rant. A pointless, lofty, high falutin speech of epic proportions, yet no substance or follow through.

For examples, read any post by @John Stark. Lots of flapping, tooting of his own horn, knocking of others, etc.
