This new law has many people worried. I have been reading more and more about it; what a fucking mess this is going to create.
We've been getting a lot of training on it - or should I say "untraining". It's going to be really, really bad in the cities. Maybe I will be proven wrong but I keep telling people that THIS is one of those "culmination" moments that we have been waiting for. This law arose from the culmination of nearly two decades of leftist control of our state, increasingly becoming more and more radically anti-law enforcement in every way possible.

Making things illegal that shouldn't be with the excuse that "we only go after the people who deserve it" is the very definition of a police state.
Why not just make breathing illegal and only prosecute "scumbags" then, it would save a lot of time.
So, no, "trafficking guns" is not a legitimate crime, and arresting someone for it is just as bad as arresting them for "trafficking" alcohol, tobacco, or twinkies for that matter.
If he acquired the guns illegally, then lock him up for that. If not, then let him be.
