Hillary hired Fusion GPS, not a Russian agent. Trump knowingly made a meeting with a Russian agent. That's the difference.

It's not illegal to meet with Russians.

Fusion GPS did illegally work with Russian agents though, as evidenced by the above prosecution.

If you are going to claim that the Hillary campaign had no idea the Steele dossier they were promoting was entirely fabricated with the help of the Russians It's going to be pretty hard to sell..

But that does seem to be her go-to excuse "I was not malevolent, just incompetent". IMHO, the entire Clinton machine is both.

Biden did *a lot* worse before taking office. How many meetings with the Chinese do you suppose he had ?

It is illegal to knowingly receive or solicit campaign help from a foreigner. Its a violation of Federal campaign law.

You're suggesting that it was fine for the Clinton campaign to knowingly hire Russian propagandists to fabricate a story about Trump from whole cloth by simply funneling the money through a DNC shell company first.

But it was illegal for Trump to *speak* to a Russian?

The Hillary campaign just handed over a boatload of cash and said "have fun" with no discussion about what they were going to do with it at all.


By that logic, Trump can't be held liable at all either. He just invited the Russians over for tea.

DoJ under Trump never prosecuted Hillary for any campaign crimes, which means she is innocent.
