I heard a "rumor" totally not verified but it was said to me it was an 18ish year old white supremacist.
Not that any perpetrator is good, I sure as hell hope that turns out to be false and just crap being thrown.
Thoughts and prayers are with the victims. Hopefully the shooter is dead. I wish more people carried going about their daily errands to stop these events.

Seriously, RIP to victims. It sounds like a retired detective was shopping in the store at the time it happened and was ye first to engage the killer and wounded him (killer was also allegedly hit in body armor) but the scumbag killed the detective.
Thank God for the detective being brave and courageous. Even though he lost his life it was clearly not in vain as his actions likely saved countless lives in doing so.

It's pretty much my worst fear (for pro gun rights), as It's the alphabet bois, media and lefts biggest wet dream.
A young radicalized white supremacist with a rifle that he shouldn't be able to have, targeting black people out of hate, while wearing such effective body armor even a retired detective working security couldn't stop him, so A- that negates our argument pistols are good for self defense and we should have them and B- that body armor is so bad even an experienced cop couldn't take him down so clearly civilians shouldn't be able to own this type of murder facilitating gear.
Nothing can push gun control better than a story like this.
I'm super annoyed because it's going to very quickly shift from being about the victims to "how could the shooter do this we must pro actively prevent another"
