Sugar and spice and everything nice! I only shoot in the rain when I need venison or someone is on my property. But to murder a piece of 8.5x11 for shits and giggles I need sunshine, the sound of chirping birdies, and the smell of lilacs and roses.

I got in a few rounds before it really started to come down again.

I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't be part of the monthly challenges though. I will put one in June.
@Podmonkey what do you think about this target. It is the target center for the 100 yard military rifle match.I use it for the M1 Garand and M14.
Its fine but did you print off on paper?
Is there a larger, widely available target eveyonenhas access to that we could standardise on?
It is the NRA SR-1 printed on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper.
I can look for a target at one of the local stores and get the name and number of it so people can buy it.
What if we used the actual 100 yard High Power target?

No shooting for me this weekend! Worked OT yesterday and had a work party today day the Club, a little rain at the start but it cleared up nice and we were able to get all the range backstops replaced and even painted 25 meter, 50 yard and the 100/200
I don't have any issues with that as long as people can get a hold of it. The problem is if people have to buy them to compete they have to be in someplace like Walmart.
Yeah our range had a pistol license qualification class on Saturday and our bowling pin shoot was rained out today.
I understand they are available on line but, nobody wants to buy 100 targets when they can print one on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper.
Is the scale the same? Its easier for me to order targets online than to try to get access to printer. I don't own one and I'm on the road all month.

going to try and get to the range to try the challenge this weekend. We had our first summer rifle league shoot wenesday I placed 3 out of 9 with a score of 187/200 with 6X. We also had some vandalism at the club last week. this pistol target was shot at a range closer than 7 yards with a 12 gauge and the target next to it was hit with the wad.

These are the type of guys that never show up for work day.
And some on here have a problem with a range with surveillance cameras!
You call it vandalism I call it another day at the range. Your target backers are too nice. They wouldn't last a week at my range.
We have a shotgun target backer available. This was deliberate destruction. If we catch them we will ban them from the club/range permanently.
The cameras are going up either this week or next.
That is a shame that they are necessary, but it will be good to identify the abusers so those that treat your facility with respect don't have to suffer for them.

Haven't had the chance yet, the leagues started this month and the club takes priority.
