Fair enough, but I doubt @HighlandLofts meant anything by it. Don't wanna chase people away from these matches after all, we need more participants. I am having a great time with it. As for my "victory"....... My win, for me, was in the pistol division. I did so much better than I thought I would.
Well, I shot them today so.... I lose, lol.
But he did it twice and I only once!

I screwed up this time and didn't bring a rifle for the 25 yard challenge. Normally I'll bring a 22 or 17wsm for that close up stuff.
My AR excels at that category. I shot a target off the bench and did no better if you can belive that.
I usually shoot the 100 yard with my 06 but, I didn't have enough rounds loaded for my match and the challenge. So it got the 223 instead.
I would have shot a few more targets Sunday, But when I got to the range and started unloading the car I realized the brick of CCI-SV that I sat on the table by the door was still sitting on the table( CRS! ). So I loaded back up ( do only live 5 miles from the Club ) went home to get it! Then only had time for the 6 that I shot non were any good!

Well, I Was going to surprise the crap out of everyone and shoot the 25 & 100 yard targets come hell or high water( and we've had a ton of rain in the last 4 days). However, I'm just leaving the range now,they have closed it off from use due to the amount of torrential rain that we've been getting. Incl. a Major storm last night. We're currently getting more now but I Was determined to shoot in it anyways. Oh well. Looks like you guys are safe again. For now

Ok for @Podmonkey sake this was my best off hand rifle at 25 meters, Marlin 989m1 2-7x32 centerpoint scope CCI -SV.
Well one way or another, I feel better, win or lose. Thanks buddy. Those are all so close I can't tell. If you get all three of those soliders, you got me.

Agreed. Hopefully the June Challenge will spark some interest.
Only have a pair of 22's with open sights, But I still may give that match a shot!!
You both are welcome to come up to my range and run one of my iron sighted rifles.
I might be able to make it in July, I would like to try shooting at the longer range that you have.
Will get up there one of these days! Your hosting a KD Appleseed soon right?
