C'mon man really
The USDA requires there to be an inspector on sight for this. This inspection process is very expensive. I’ve seen this many times over with the Amish and they are doing this to get money and more of it. I’m sorry but there are things to fight about and there are things you just need to do. This is one of those things that just needs to be done.
BINGO!
If you're selling food products to the general public then those products should meet whatever food safety requirements are in placeHOGWASH! Their customers know the risk, LEAVE THEM ALONE! America was once a great nation, that was till the government started demanding us to follow their lead on everything, that and when they stole ALL our property from us.
Do their customers know the risk? How do you know? I’ll bet most of their customers are morons from the closest city that have no clue. Butchering through the USDA adds significant costs to the process and this is why they are avoiding it. What’s hogwash is that it’s a violation of their religious freedoms. They don’t have to violate any of their religious principles.HOGWASH! Their customers know the risk, LEAVE THEM ALONE! This is probably perfectly legal since there are expeditions of small egg producers. For beef and pork any slaughter needs to take place at a usda plant/butcher unless it’s for yourself. There are plenty of other things they could do to make money to skirt having to use any government services.how about the GOVT keep out of it .. and people learn how to wash and cook your food so you don't get sick ..
passed 3 signs the other day when driving .. FRESH EGGS 3 bucks a DOZ .. not washed .. so you can preserve them ..
Water Glassing Eggs ..
seams like the Govt backed food processers have a lot of recalls of contaminated stuff more then we the people farmers ..
Maybe those recalls are happening because a problem is identified, where the"people farmers" aren't identifying the problem. Are the "people farmers" selling their product to the general public or just consuming it themselves?how about the GOVT keep out of it .. and people learn how to wash and cook your food so you don't get sick ..

Raw milk is a huge risk. NYS allows it to be sold but it has to be tested regularly and guess what? Listeria and other pathogens are found at an extremely high rate. Another huge rip off since most raw milk seller are in the $6-$7/gallon range by me. They are raking in huge dollar amounts per gallon on raw milk under the low that it is better for you. It’s not. Pasteurization changes the protein slightly and that’s all. If people wanted to the could pasteurize at a lower temperature for a longer time period and not change the protein structure or change it very little. They choose not to because selling raw milk is more profitable and they believe it’s better for you. You ever see the backend of a cow or the teets? Yeah there is shit all over them. They do a quick iodine dip and wipe the teets with a cloth. I would never drink raw milk with bits of cow shit ever!!Brought to you by the same group that tries everything they can to stop raw milk from being sold. I believe I'm part Amish. Don't buy into government, the medical profession and the educational system. I know someone that orders from there. Let's get something straight. This has NOTHING to do with health. "They" are always doing things under the guise of keeping you safe. BULLSHIT! "They" know ZERO about health. No different than big pharma going after the supplement industry. Bottom line is this is hurting their bottom line. This is mafia style.
Think of the way farm products are grown. Most are grown in a large field and we’re are all lying to ourselves of every piece of produce is contamination free. The large processors get recalls because they put a large volume of produce through their plants and they are testing for it. Farms are not testing for issues.Maybe those recalls are happening because a problem is identified, where the"people farmers" aren't identifying the problem. Are the "people farmers" selling their product to the general public or just consuming it themselves?
Been using raw milk for years and I will put my health and that of my family's against anyone's. Organic food is also more expensive. What's your point? A Cadillac is more expensive than a Chevy. I can go on. Bottom line is if you trust the government, FDA, etc. to do what's best for your health you get what you deserve. Obviously there are some farms that are recommended over others. Don't paint with such a broad brush. The government also tells me I am taking a risk by not getting the "Vaccine" and by my boys never being vaccinated since birth. Life is a risk. I'll take the "risk" of what I have learned and applied over decades that have given me the results I have over the risk of what the government tells me is in my best interests. YMMV. here is the link on raw milk from their farm saying store raw milk in the back of fridge and set it at 36F to prevent making butter milk in less than two weeks. Butter milk is fermented milk and that right there tells me all I need to know. Organic milk from grassfed cows: Miami, FL HealthyFoodClub.com and Miller's Organic Farm
Funny how using a usda processing plant violates their religion, but not a web site.
The majority of that shows no direct link. Ok it has more nutritional value and the article says that’s because raw milk cows are out to pasture. Ok buy pasture raised cows milk and it will be the same.Been using raw milk for years and I will put my health and that of my family's against anyone's. Organic food is also more expensive. Of course it isn't based on just raw milk. That is just a small part of it. It is though based on doing the opposite of what "they" recommend which is what most people follow blindly. As far as genes that is not entirely correct. Do some research on epigenetics and you will understand that genes are like the bullets in a gun. Your lifestyle is what pulls the trigger. Genes, the germ theory, etc.. is just more of the BS the medical profession leans on because they can't help you be healthy. Health is many things not just eating and moving. It is the accumulation of decisions over time. Things that may seem insignificant like organic food, structural work, detoxing the body, etc. accumulate over time. Big things are just a lifetime of little things added up. Again, my family and I have done many things for a very long time to get where we are. I was a very sick kid growing up. Did what most people do and that's where it got me. Learned a better way which is why I haven't taken as much as an aspirin in decades and why my 22 and 25 year old boys have never taken any type of drug ever. I see the same push back when it comes to feeding my cats. So many traditional vets and misinformed people shun a raw diet. "Bacteria" they cry. Meanwhile animals have a much shorter digestive system compared to humans so things go through the body much faster. Of course though the pet food industry that poisons pets with their products doesn't want you using anything but their products. They teach in the vet schools and educate the students on their wares. Bottom line is this. I know what's best for me and mine. I have a proven track record of the results. I want choice. You don't want to play in my sandbox? You don't have to. Let me live my life with how I see fit and leave me the hell alone. Yeah, I'm a bit pissed off this morning as it looks like Molinaro lost to that "Veteran" that believes in killing babies, defunding the police and is against the 2nd. THIS is what NY is and I loathe it and the people that are for it. I can't get out of this shit stain fast enough. You could put your health against mine and I’m sure you’d be more healthy than me, but it’s not only based on raw milk. It’s mainly genes and your physical activity. Yes eating plays into it, but I could eat the same and work out the same as you and be less healthy or you could tell zero difference if you ate organically and I ate conventionally grown foods.
I might agree. If this was about safety. If you're selling food products to the general public then those products should meet whatever food safety requirements are in place
Get informed. I'm sure there are some idiot gun owners that don't know the risk of owning a firearm since we periodically read about the stupidity. Maybe the government should regulate guns more. You know, for our own safety.Do their customers know the risk?

Using the words "Government" and "High standards" in the same sentence is like hot ice or jumbo shrimp.Agree and they exceed said! Do not need big government's stamp of approval to meet high standards!
Wasn't going to go there but my thoughts also. I don't take advice on money from someone that has less than I do or health advice from someone that I am healthier than. Not a personal thing but it is what it is.Says the person who keeps posting about how sickly your family is.... yah low blow, but you are talking out the side of your behind here with stuff you copy and pasted from some aniti's.
I personally avoid buying most any food products made by the Amish. Good people yes, but many use kids and family members to do the work. Sorry but that 10 year old doesn’t have the reasoning to say yes this is safe and no it’s not safe.
