Took some plastic junk to the range at lunch. This is the nightstand (acp/45 super launch platform. I will post more plastic junk later. Ugly left over fde tape and all!

Yep. Not really much to do for a conversion with the usp though. I did more to the 1911 but I’m sticking to this for the super/smc. It’s overbuilt and many say it’s fine out of the box for .45 super.

It's an interesting caliber that fixes all the shortfalls of the ACP.

It’s meant for full size only for the most part. Expensive and not common. Will also beat up a gun more than the acp.

Speed for hard barrier penetration.

If you want to believe double tap you can shoot the .45 smc in any full size rated for +p. It’s about the same thing as the super. I wouldn’t want to shoot that many in a bone stock pistol with the exception of the full size usp for the most part. I Feel The Need for .450 SMC Speed

I say we need a write up on .45suped

I like the super because I can still shoot acp. It’s like a .357 mag shooting a .38 special.i
Will write something up sometime. I got into the cartridge to hunt deer with (the 255 grain supers). I didn’t get out much at all this year and didn’t get a chance to take a shot but I’m sure it would get the job done. Not my write up but interesting read. Comparing the 10 mm, 450 SMC and .45 Super for Predator Defense

I think the defender class in all calibers is too light. Good speed but penetration lacks.
