Youse, collectively DO know this FBI operative called the popo from a NYC Mickey D's and 'turned hisself in".
Honestly, there are plenty of unusual things about this guy and his crimes, but that's not really one of them. I've seen that and it's happened to me before where I've swiped my card, something goes wrong, and the station conductor just waves you through the gate. It especially looks normal considering that this animal was dressed like a regular working shlub.
So, they let him in???

In my youth I had a blue collar job with supplied uniforms, Dark blue pants, light blue shirt, dickies type, name and company patch above the pockets. Every single time I went to the local hardware store people would stop and ask me where such-in-such was. I looked nothing like the red polo shirt hardware store employees, and had a completely different company name.A few years ago I was at my local Target, and I was wearing a red shirt and beige pants, and I got told by some manager that I needed to quit loafing around and go restock the toy department. When I told them I didn't work there, they were confused and told me to quit messing around. I told them, Ok, fine ... I'll go restock them shelves and walked in the toy isle direction.
Note to self: Don't dress like a Target employee when actually at a Target. LOL

People in general are fucking idiots. They have zero situational awareness. A worker-bee is just another fixture, no attention is needed unless they want something from them, they are not memorable. They are another cog in the machine and nothing more. This is why pen testers wear vests and carry clipboards.
I hated wearing a tradesman uniform. Go to the bank, or a higher end place of sales and you got treated like shit. You were inferior. It didn't matter if you obviously had a job and could pay for whatever you were looking for. The only exception was other places where blue collar frequent. I could walk into a plumbing supply, car dealer parts dept, real lumberyard, it didnt matter what it was, and be treated much better than if I strolled in like Johnny CleanFingers

God I love the media. Guessing is now reportingSurprised this wasn't even worse.
Read only what I highlighted, then read the whole thing. I wonder if he had the full box of ammo? Maybe it was split between several caches.
The memo didn’t disclose where the storage unit containing James’ alleged cache of weapons was kept, but law enforcement sources said it was in the Philadelphia metro area.
Law enforcement agents allegedly found "9mm ammunition, a threaded 9mm pistol barrel that allows for a silencer or suppresser to be attached, targets, and .223 caliber ammunition, which is used with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle" in that storage unit, according to the memo.
When James arrived in Brooklyn, he was armed "with all the weapons and tools he needed to carry out the mass attack," including a Glock pistol, a container of gasoline, a torch and fireworks, prosecutors said.
Brooklyn subway shooting suspect Frank James had 'stockpile' of weapons, prosecutors say
James, 62, made his first court appearance Thursday. He is accused of setting off smoke canisters and wounding 10 people in a rush-hour attack on a Manhattan-bound N train.www.nbcnews.com
Just because it was a pawnshop does not mean it was a used pistol. If it was new they would be the first FFL to have it on their books. ATF takes the serial, contacts Glock, who tells them the distributor, who in turn divulges the FFLHow did law enforcement trace the Glock 17 back to Frank James, and do so quickly?
If there is no register of handguns by the ATF , how was the trace done?
What database(s) could have been used to connect James to the pistol?
He legally bought the Glock 17 in 2011 from a pawn shop in Ohio, per this article.
Well, because, he wasn't 'caught', he was at a Mickey D's and called the popo to turn hisself in...soooooInvestigators found a U-Haul key at the scene of the shooting and traced it to a van that they believe James rented in Philadelphia. James has addresses in Philadelphia and Wisconsin, police said.
Police have arrested Frank R. James, the Brooklyn subway shooting suspect
Ten people were shot during Tuesday morning's rush hour and another 13 people suffered injuries ranging from smoke inhalation to falls and panic attacks, authorities said.www.npr.org
The police found the van abandoned on a street late Tuesday afternoon, about five blocks from the Kings Highway station, where they say the gunman had gotten on the subway, and five miles from the 36th Street station, where the shooting unfolded.
Two law enforcement officials said that a credit card with Mr. James’s name on it had been found at the scene of the shooting, as had a key to a van that Mr. James had rented, along with a Glock 9-millimeter handgun, three ammunition magazines, a hatchet, fireworks and a liquid believed to be gasoline.
Well aint that some shit, the shooter left his gun, ammo, mags, wallet, and keys at the shooting. WTF?
How do you determine if the lost credit card and key belong to the shooter who was masked and theres no video ? It could have been anybodys, people left shoes and probably purses and back packs when they fled . How do you determine this key and this credit card belonged to the shooter?
Not saying he didnt do it , just questioning the methods which he was caught . didn't make any sense to me.

I had a similar experience in my past. Worked OTR as a commercial HVAC repair guy for a multi billion dollar international company but we didn't wear uniforms, just jeans and t-shirts, no logos on them. Was sent somewhere, can't remember the location, to fix an 11 floor apartment complex during initial construction. Worked a 14 hour day and decided to call it and head to the hotel room. In the previous week, the VP of sales went to the site to see the issue first hand and stayed at the same hotel. This is where its gets kinda funny. Now mind you, that was the VP. Swank is the norm. Lead tech for repair? At best, Holiday Inn Express ( dam fine breakfast buffet I must say). Mostly dive motels for 35/ night. Ya know monthly, hell hourly rates. In my youth I had a blue collar job with supplied uniforms, Dark blue pants, light blue shirt, dickies type, name and company patch above the pockets.
