I'm still undecided on a sling. Leather? Cotton/canvas? I can see both fitting the gun well. Looking at the bayonet pic though, I'm thinking an OD green cotton/canvas sling. I'd also like to at some point get the metal milspec trigger group/guard for this as well.

So what is the deal with the field barrel?

I've no use for it, and it's crappy looking. So maybe I'll cut it down, clean it up and just give it a coat of flat black. Stick a front sight on it and call it tactical. My build deserves a barrel with choke tubes, but I'm not gonna spend the money...that's for the next guy.

Found a couple of guys in Memphis, TN who might buy it and the fore end stock. I'd be happy to get a few more bucks back.
