This pipeline is to go under many creeks and streams. NOW as far as Pendleton is concerned...Most people told National Fuel to take it elsewhere while a few sold out and signed property releases. National Fuel has ZERO accounts in Pendleton.The fuel is going out of Country to Canada and serves no purpose in the States. The "compressor" is directly upwind of all 3 Schools in the district and only a couple air miles away. They claim noise and pollution is at acceptable levels. "Acceptable to who" We have no noise or pollution now at that site so something more is more than the town wants or needs. Now for anyone who is sympathetic to National fuel, see if they will re-route the line and install that compressor in YOUR backyard.

I was asking one of the old timers I work with about what landowners get paid for fracking on their property and was told a crazy story about this down and out old farmer with 900 acres. Company paid $1,000,000 upfront for a land use lease and 10% of whatever the well made. Which in that case equated to $10,000 a week. Insane.

And Cuomo is cutting this income from folks in the southern tier ... Including my family...Think about all these elderly folks in the southern tier ... They go into a nursing home and the land is sold by the nursing home to pay the bills ... A NY city Cuomo supporting banker buys this land for a $100,000 full well knowing it has the income value of millions when they lift the drilling moratorium in 10-20 years ... Legal theft folks ... legal theft.
