Yep. It says what it says and only an idiot would think that if we were still 13 colonies today trying to break away and George Washington was still alive, he would want us to only have bolt guns instead of semi automatic and full automatic for the disposal of a government and no ability to conceal carry for personal self defense.
The 2nd says what it says despite what a corrupt court says it means. Law enforcement like to ignore this and continue to trash the rights of the citizenry while lying to themselves to feel better about what they are doing. Either that or they are extremely ignorant.

The People demanded cops wear cameras, not the cops. Although now I 100% see them as more of a benefit to us than anyone else.

Over 10 years ago, I stopped a PA driver who was probably slightly intoxicated. He was about 100 yards past a highway entrance that would have taken him in a direct line across Brooklyn, Staten Island, NJ and into PA. He immediately blurted out that he had a gun in the glove box. I made him make a u-turn, get on the highway, and (hopefully) drive straight home. Nowadays? That’s on camera and no dumbass with loose lips is costing me my career. Call me whatever you want. I don’t care.

It is what it is. Career over oath. No sugar coating it to make it sound palatable or adding extra words to make it sound worse. If you aren’t willing to arrest him now due to body cameras, some other skell will so why not you?

You are deliberately missing the point. At what point will you say the camera be damned? Because right now it isn’t some guns or whether someone is carrying without a permit. At what point is your pension not worth what is being done to the citizenry? Semi automatics? Revolvers? Bolt? Muzzleloaders?
