need a good holster

You clearly are not experienced with these holsters.
Also, if you understood my previous posts, you would have heard that I do NOT use this holster and will NOT ever buy one again. Not emotionally invested at all.
My point is that in my experience, the guy in the videos and the two of you here, are wrong in your opinions.....in my experience!
So, I made a video to show how wrong you are. After 4 years of use, my AG 2.0 is still in perfect shape, has excellent retention.....and clearly clicks.

I can make a video too. My shield dumps out of my crossbreed like water from an upturned pail.
Now, that is apparently an advantage of the Alien Gear holster as the retention can be tightened up from what I understand.
However its important that not everyone will have the same experience with products and the purpose of these forums is to exchange information and opinions.

Is it the most expensive one? I’m just messing with you. I’m glad you posted the honest report. I’m sure after about $500 worth of ammo the bugs will get worked out! I can say I would be a bit pissed if I was in your shoes. As for the holsters.... I tried the hybrid and was not a huge fan.

As for most expensive gun meh it's just a glock 19 with a few extras, but I also have my RMR P07 with about the same amount of money into it (because when I got the slide milled not many people where doing that kind of work for that gun so I paid the price to get what I wanted how i wanted)

And honestly I'm not ecstatic that my 19 isnt working but when it comes to that kind of stuff it's to be expected and will get worked out eventually

I wouldn't say cheap lmao, I'd say frugal.

I dont buy cheap/subpar stuff/gear if I plan to carry/use it and my life depends on it, I find out what is the best gear and then save my money for it or wait for some deals lmao.

(Granted a true roland special also cost more due to them adding the RMR $500-600, and a Surefire x300u $250ish) and I already had an RMR to use and I'll be adding whatever light later on

I lied, I have bought subpar cheap gear before, but after doing the legwork and learning and growing as a concealed carrier I reconsidered what isnt adequate, accepted the facts of such and have taken said gear out of my EDC and replaced it with something that is acceptable with high standards and moved on (with that being said I still do have an Inforce APL (gen 2) because if I want to carry my P-07 it is needed to use the holster, which is also something I need to replace and plan to do both at the same time, but I accepted that a light isnt a huge priority and run the gun as if it is not there until it is replaces, this is also why I have been carrying my glocks with the vanguard "holster" (also not ideal) until I have decided on what light to go with, get that light and matching holster.... as the the Alien Gear 3.0 that I own, it is thankfully buried in the furthest corner of my storage unit under as much junk as possible)

Sig finish must suck. A few draws and you can see a line on her.

And they advertise as OWB/IWB. well the front clip sticks out too far for real concealment. Maybe if I worse AIWB it would be better.

That’s 10 pounds from now LOL.

Not trying to be "that guy" but how do you plan to do any reloads with this thing? Unless you plan to use it as a crossdraw?

I carry a mag on weak side as primary reload.

I’m a firm believer in spread loading and practicing weak hand and one handed shooting......

Of course, the OP asked for opinions and experience. If you look at my first post here, I did not suggest ANY holster, I would never do that. I told him everyone is different and he needs to figure out what works for him.
Then I told him what works for me. Im the ONLY one whos didnt just suggest a holster.
Then, the two warriors attacked with with their usual grace and well....there it is.
I agree, the AG and Crossbreed are different holsters. My AG has great retention.....my experience.
As ive said, I will never buy another hybrid and do not use this one anymore. I dont like having to almost undress to remove and replace my holster.
Again, I DID NOT make any suggestions, in fact im the one who said what youre saying, everyones expierience is different, then told him what I use.

I’ve spent a lot of money on holsters, and you will too. I’m currently rocking a JM Custom Kydex holster and couldn’t be happier.

When I go sit down to drop a deuce, my kydex still holds the gun positively in the holster. It wouldn't do that with a hybrid.

The pistol is unloaded. I can almost pull my pants up with my holster pistol. I haven’t messed with the retention too much. While wearing, I don’t get a loud click when holstering but I get no click when not wearing the holster. Maybe it needs more adjustment? I don’t have a dog in the fight, I’m just trying to learn. I am looking for a good quality all Kydex holster to try out.
