Worth every penny. The Axis Slim is just incredible. Best AWIB I’ve owned. I’m gonna get one for my HK V9SK, CZ P-07, and P320 RX next deal they have. For Black Friday they had 20% off which is a significant and rare discount. They are going to be my next holster

3 o’clock can lead to some printing but it’s certainly a do-able carry position. Mainly you just gotta try them all.I’m too fat for aiwb. When I did carry, I carried at 4-5. I’m kinda liking the 3 o’clock position. I’m not very experienced in carrying. Anything wrong with 3 o’clock position?
Lmao and you were the one who started attacking. Hell you got butt hurt and dismissed an actual instructor who holds some pretty impressive and high level firearms INSTRUCTOR credentials because he was "fat" and said he cant be a good instructor because he was never in the military (yet he served in the navy) or was never a police officer.
Then tried to compare him having a certificate as an instructor to your cousin who works at a hotel or some shit
The threshold for being considered an "instructor" nowadays is pretty low.
That guy is a former navy tech who monday-morning-quaterbacks some shooting videos on youtube.
He has good presentation skills, but outside of that I'm not sure what stand-out "credentials," (or, more importantly, real-world experience) he really has as a self-defense and firearms instructor. Also, just because someone says something on youtube doesn't mean you have to take it as scripture.
He has a whole host of credentials, and not to mention is constantly talking with and working with other top level instructors around the country. But because he was a non combat rate in the navy he cant know what hes talking about
He has a few pistol training, self-defense and security guard courses under his belt...courses which just about any Joe Schmoe can take. Also, one of his "credentials" is: "Daily CCW carrier since 2006." I had no idea that counted as a "credential."
Does his educational/training background mean he has some knowledge on the subject? Yes.
Does it mean he is a highly-qualified expert who can render expert analysis on every police and civilian shooting on the internet? That's debatable.
I'm not saying you have to be a SEAL Team 6 member to be able to opine on self-defense and general firearms topics, but I also don't think taking a few courses as a civilian makes you an "expert" on those topics.
Also, I'm not knocking him or his channel...he's obviously successful at what he does. But I don't think anyone should treat his word or opinions as gospel (incapable of being disputed or contradicted)...same principle applies for anyone who instructs or renders opinions, even former SEALS.
Many of the cop instructors have never fired a shot in anger and people seem to think they are highly trained and know it all. I think much of the training is to remove money from wallets. I have taken a few formal classes and I’m no better or worse than I was before. If you know the basics and practice often that’s good enough for the vast majority. Be able to draw and hit the target safely and in a reasonable amount of time with both hands and one had (strong and weak) will be enough for 99 percent of self defense shootings in my opinion. The least used tool on a cops belt is a spare mag. Being able to reload quick is good but prob not needed. He has a whole host of credentials, and not to mention is constantly talking with and working with other top level instructors around the country.
