I am looking for companion lever action rifles to match my revolvers. I found a shop that has two .357 levers as new but used, a browning B92, and a Winchester. Browning has no safety made about 1985, Winchester has tang safety so newer than 2003. Price is about the same which to get? Another question is I want to pair a 45 colt Ruger Redhawk and would like to stay with same manufacturer for the rifle if possible. Winchester makes 45 colt Browning does not but is available in 44 Mag.
The Browning is scarcer 357 only made for about 5 years, but is not drilled and tapped for possible scope mounting, but not planning on scope now.
I can get about two Rossi for the price of the Browning or the Winchester, but you get what you pay for generally.
Which to buy, and why, also any range reports on similar arms.
