I got the email propaganda from them as well. IIRC they touted it as a concealed carry piece. Maybe I’m confused, but wouldn’t it work better the other way? Longer slide, shorter grip? At least for me, the grip is what screams gun when concealed carrying and the longer sight radius should improve shooters accuracy.

Its nice to see a new offering, but i prefer the 19. My bottom of my hand hangs off the 19 a bit so a bigger grip is cool, but not worth sacrificing the extra concealability with a short grip.
Kinda sorta, but not really.
Someday we will all be shocked when Glock comes out with something different.

Wow. This is awesome! Another Glock that looks the exact same as other Glocks. Too exited.
I still think it's funny that people expect glock, a company that has only been making one product the exact same way for 36 years, to be "innovative" and omg they didnt just magically make something new.
I am not one of those, I have always disliked them and always will. I think it is funny when people make a big deal of something new that really is not.,

Just held one of these next to the G19 yesterday and was thoroughly surprised that the grip on this felt excellent compared to the 19. I would never have thought that, being that my hands are pretty small. I've fired the 19x but couldn't get past the stupid cutout in the front of the grip. The 45 doesn't have it, and it's much better. And I think the 19x HAS to run 19x mags. The 45 can run regular 17 mags.

Just kidding. They aren't anything fancy. They don't have shiny grips, chrome triggers, and other useless gadgets on them but they work and work well. That's all I ever want in a gun. They also have the best aftermarket support of any gun out there. If you get the latest shiny gun, you'll have to wait a year for a certain accessory to be made for it and sometimes it never gets made for it.

Some guns just come from the manufacture perfect. Hence no need for aftermarket.

I agree. And perfection is boring because inherently there is no room for improvement. Glocks are great guns but because they are so great you really can't do much with them but switch things around like they've been doing for over 3 decades. The only way at this point I really see Glock doing anything that is actually new is making a rifle. And I honestly don't know why they haven't tried. Imagine a rifle with the reliability of a glock. Ooops nevermind. I just looked at my avatar and realized it's already been done. And coincidentally there's not much you can do with them either. Carry on all.
Sorry but when it comes to a gun that I will depend on every day with my life and my families life, boring is 100% what I want
