Meant to respond to this earlier. Since Bradford is too far from Johnstown to commute to and from each class I'd be willing to split a hotel room. But that is as far as my contribution would go.How about room and board

I want to get back. Out once more but I have a trap shoot next Wednesday and I'll be working Tuesday and Thursday.
Well not actual cookies, I was going to trace around the cutters in some 1/4 inch Lauan and cut them out with the jigsaw....
If you look at the other challenges (in the Challenge Showcase sub forum) I try to give people non traditional targets to shoot at.
The @Podmonkey (no magnification red dot) challenge will most likely become a permanent feature. I will open it up to iron sights too. No Magnification Red Dot/ iron sight 100 yard challenge with the SR1 target being the standard target.
Arfin' awesome! Then again, how could I possibly hope to improve on this month's target?! I think that represents the very best I can do, any improvement would be pure luck.

lmao you left 6 Xs on the table, I suppose I am going to actually have to challenge myself to best your score now.
Now the challenge you will have to do for yourself is see if you can achieve that score the first time out instead of on the 15th try.
It always takes me a few targets to warm up, get settled into the right position. When my POA naturally settles on the bullseye after each shot I know I'm dialed in. It takes time though. I have an easier time locking in when prone but it was too cold and wet on the line that day for it.
Most matches I shoot you get no sighters or you get a two at the practice bull to verify your dope. You are either on or you are not but you have to make the best of it.
I only have 2 problems with iron sight shooting, one more important than the other. First I can't see the end of the barrel let alone the sight on top, therefore 2 is self-explanatory I don't own an iron sight weapon. Having said that I compensate by shoot tiny things at greater distances, while this has you have said would only be for bragging rights. I LIKE IT.....
You should come to my club and shoot in the scoped rifle league. We have a light and heavy class that shoots 100 and 200 then we have an open class that shoots 100- 400.
Next time I'll post the first targets. It won't be pretty though.
Y'all gotta at least cut me some slack on this given the long intervals between my shooting activity.

I figured if you cant beat em join em @nortatoga.
So i borrowed a 22 ruger mark II with a cheap barska red dot from an adolescence girl!

Just for fun. I set up again to try out the CZ vz-61.
I hung the target off the aide of teh stand just so i could get a feel where the POI was going to be.
Well, i was doing so well i did not even bother to shoot another one. One and only target with the CZ. I figured why waste the ammo.....and my toes were cold in my sandals!
@nortatoga i did not even need a female childs caliber!!!! Although 32acp is CLOSE!
