Over a million, about 30% in home equity and most of the remainder in securities.

How much of a bath? 10% is 10%, I doubt anyone wants to lose that much of their net. However, I could come up with it within a couple weeks if I had to. I'm not special, if I can then anyone else can too - including Trump.

If you had that tied up in financial instruments you would take a bloodbath liquidating it that fast. It's also unlikely you can cash out the full value of that equity on short notice without getting hit with severe penalties too.

So, no, 10% isn't just 10%.

How much value would you lose if you had to deposit $100k in checking next month and let it sit there for a year.

If you had to sell your house, and had a year to do it, you could probably get 100% of it's value.

If you had to do it in 3 weeks, you wouldn't get near that much.

Also, for Trump, this is a bond, that he expects to get back on appeal. So he isn't losing anything from the money he has to put up. He's losing money on the assets he needs to liquidate in a fire sale to get the cash.

How much is your car worth ? How would you like to be forced to sell it on Craigslist next week, then buy another car to replace it with that cash ?

I think you are not familiar with the concept of liquidity. Your net worth on paper and your net worth if you had to sell everything today are two entirely different figures. Especially with real estate.

I'm familiar with it. I'm also familiar with not putting all your eggs in 1 basket so to say. Keeping most of your worth in real estate when you are aware you likely will have judgements against you isn't that smart, especially when you know you will likely need liquidity.

Granted, Trump mostly does real estate so I can see why he might have a larger portion there than the average investor does in their portfolio. Still that's not a good reason to not even have 10% in something that is easy to sell without much penalty for the liquidity. Something like stocks and bonds - they can be sold fast at fair value, where real estate has a longer turn around to recover fair value.

I've been inundated with text messages and emails from President Trump this weekend.

It's crunch time for him to come up with the $500,000,000 bond the ruthless and demonic liberals in New York City have forced him to secure to save his empire. He's been reaching out to supporters with a flurry of messages outlining exactly how dangerous this precedent is to the city, the country, and our democracy.

He ain't wrong either.

If Letitia James is allowed to seize even a single stapler from one of Donald Trump's iconic buildings it will send a ripple effect through the New York real estate scene that is already reeling from ridiculous liberal policies and democrat leadership.

Nobody will sink money into New York if they think their assets can be seized by crazed political rivals who abuse their power to punish people who simply think differently than they do. The money will flow elsewhere fast!

But it doesn't matter anyway because Donald Trump has absolutely no intention of letting the sleazy DA and her band of communist cohorts get anywhere near his beloved Trump Tower.

He pretty much told her to "Kiss his assets!" He's not going anywhere.

That's why we love the guy.

Keep in mind that seizing millions of dollars in commercial real estate in a city the size of New York is not an easy task. The same hurdles that Trump has found trying to find someone to back his bond are the same hurdles Letitia James will have to overcome in trying to liquidate said assets. In fact, because of the "business unfriendly" environment that she has helped create in New York City, there are fewer people interested in buying up whatever real estate she may be trying to unload.

By trying to steal Trump's property she has painted herself into a corner and made it almost impossible to collect the debt she claims the city is owed.

Well, ain't that just a kick in the pantsuit?

But the truth of the matter is, that Donald Trump's biggest and most valuable assets aren't his golden palaces with Italian marble floors. It isn't his high-rise apartment buildings or historic Wall Street office spaces. Nope.

It's his community.

It's the people who are part of his tribe.

It's his fans, followers, voters, and supporters.

Donald Trump has brought together one of the largest groups ever assembled. His MAGA movement is comprised of millions of Americans who read his messages, listen to his speeches, buy his merchandise, and vote for him in elections.

The same emails and text messages I received from President Trump this weekend were sent to 75,000,000 other patriots who have opted in and sworn allegiance to a leader who puts America first.

That's his true asset.

People are the real value.

Community is what counts most.

Trump's TRUTH social network is about to go public and bring him a $4.3 Billion payday because he was able to create a strong community of like-minded individuals who all want to save this country and protect the freedoms given to us by God and sanctified in our Bill of Rights.

Letitia James can't seize people. The tribe belongs to Trump.

That's why it's so important for every leader, every business executive, every entrepreneur, and every influencer to have their own "uncancellable" and "unseizable" group of like-minded followers who are dedicated to a common cause.
