Mine doesn't have a detachable mag and the muzzle just has a threaded cap roll pinned on.Some versions have a detachable magazine and all have a muzzle device I belive.
Frankly that is one of your best options anyway.Hmmm what one to buy? All i got is a silly SKS.

Very interesting option to the Thordsen. Thordsen is nice but not inexpensive.AR with our Headbutt SGW-515 AR/Shotgun Stock Adapter. Mate a Mossberg 500 compatible stock to your AR.
Hmmmm where are the cheap lowers? If you haven't built an AR yet, get on it. Prices are ridiculous right now, you get more gun for your money than any other system.
Heck, build two
They've been flying off the shelves. Not a super deal, but fairly reasonable: here's an Anderson lower for $57 plus shipping (so buy a few): Anderson Stripped Lower 7075-T6 MULTI CAL : AR15 Parts at GunBroker.com.Hmmmm where are the cheap lowers?
I dont go to the FFL for 1 firearm. I buy in multiples cause Merica! Thanks for the links, though. Now what cals to build?
Anyone have a saiga sporter?
I have the 223 and 7.62x39 models. Great rifles, but only a value a the old prices. I would never spend more than 550-600 on one, and they seem to be asking a lot more these days.
Do you have a c&r? If not, its worth $30I think at this point I'm leaning towards an sks.
Since NY sucks and we are severely limited On options, the sks having quickly reloadable 10rd stripper clips is in my opinion more useful than an Ar you have to take apart to load or a featureless AR with weird stock, and it looks like you can get a good condition sks for around 400$ that eats up cheap 7.62 all day long.
I think if I had a bigger budget I would be more strongly considering an Ares or saiga sporter. But at this point I need a semi auto centerfire before the election.
