Memes aside, has anything actually come of this? I suspect, like most things NY state does, it's a fangless measure they can't even hope to implement without a massive fight in court. It's lip service -- even though just the threat of such lip service is treason against the constitution.

I have been around for 60 long years now. I come from a different time and a much different America. With that being considered, I'm really starting to not give much of a fuck anymore.
My only concern at this point should be getting out of New York State and making the best for myself in the time that I have left. Life is too short for this shit and things are getting worse here in New York at an even faster pace than normal. You all know what I'm talking about, I don't need to elaborate.
I'm still here in New York for reasons, important reasons, but it's time to let those reasons go and move on as many others have already done.
New York has truly become an out-of-control police state under Hochul the Horrible. We are living under a lawless rogue Governor IMO. I seriously think that she has some sort of mental issues and that's not sarcasm. Just look at her fucking face, it just oozes with evil, am I wrong?
There's only one correct answer to this Albany/NYC commie bullshit IMO. That's to get out of New York State. Considering that I am a Republican/Conservative the people that I vote for never ever win an election anyway (except for here locally.) I live in a very red county, the reddest of the red. But I still can't vote my way out of this, I've tried that method for the last 33 years that I have lived here in New York and it's hopeless.
It's not just the 2A issue either, just about everything else sucks here in New York too and I know that I can do much better for myself than this.
This mini-rant is over, I needed to get this off my chest so to speak. If you read this long meaningless post and wasted your time. I do appreciate it... LOL

I agree about Nikki Haley, and the sentiment in general, but Christina Pushaw, who happens to be a member of Ron DeSantis' election campaign reached all the way back to 2013 for the Trump tweet to lump him in with Haley.
I'd be a bit more concerned if Trump's tweet was more recent or even after he became POTUS. I don't recall anything in recent times that indicates he feels this way now. Maybe, but I hope he's seen enough to appreciate just how that would endanger many of his supporters.

As gun owners in nys this form is kind of fitting to be filled out. Just quickly reading down it I could answer all of the questions with legit complaints about the hate spewed by the nys gov. It would be a waste of time but I do find humor in the thought. It also ties up resources that may be used against one of us calling a dude sir and getting a visit from the purple ties.

Like I said a waste of time but still could be funny. Problem is you would never get enough of us to make their life more difficult. Too many worried about someone visiting them for real. I know for a fact more than few card carrying libs have turned in forms accusing FUKH and FULJ for their prejudice, hate, and persecution of NY residents for believing in God given rights and the founding principles of this Republic. Most were sent from weakly secured wiFi networks from their friends working at Vassar, Bard, and New Paltz. Some were sent with IP addresses from high officials in China to maybe get some results.
