You on meds? You still haven't said you don't support the safe act. Great, you have decided to obey the law of the safe act but then why in the hell would you vote guilty for someone that didn't? You can obey the law and still not contribute to the felony minting process that NY has become because of the law.

If the person in the dock has been indicted for violating a state law, it is the duty of the jury to render an opinion as to his guilt or innocence in accordance with the law.

The jury is not charged with acting upon how they may feel that day.

If you are a NY resident and feel this law, or any other, violates the US Constitution there are ways to challenge it through a legal process.

Voting not guilty when someone is does nothing to change the law and it undermines our judicial system.

If you wish to become "the MLK of gun rights" you may do so. You like he will be charged and probably go to jail. You like him, may fuel a popular uprising of people who agree with you and the law maybe overturned. Then again, thinking hicap magazines and open carry are the same as racial discrimination, may lead you into a bad place.

Numerous county sheriffs said that they will not enforce Cuomo's NY UNSAFE Act. My County Sheriff is one of them.
I heard it from him personally at our local SCOPE meeting, he talked about how the law is unconstitutional. But more importantly the District Attorney that was standing right next to the sheriff said that the UNSAFE Act turned law abiding
citizens into criminals over night and that he will not prosecute any UNSAFE Act violations. And up to this point
they have kept their word.

And then there is this:

If in fact, those officers of the court had a SAFE act violation brought to their attention and they refused to act on it, they would find themselves removed from office. Threads I have posted on have only turned to shit because this site has a few members who love to brag about what they view as incorrect.

He's not my Sheriff, but I know for fact that he doesn't give a shit what the NYSP or other anti-gun officials think. He wasn't hiding from public eye when he made his statement. In the 4,1/2 years since the UNSAFE act was signed into law that hasn't happened...
Cuomo has threatened some sheriffs but that is far as it went. Cuomo didn't dare to remove any elected sheriffs.

My sheriff spoke his mind at public meetings, and in both of our local news papers. After serving the county
as our sheriff for 29 years. He retired and the undersheriff replaced him. Just before the undersheriff took over
our two local news outlets asked what was his stance on the NY UNSAFE Act. His response was that nothing is going to change
regarding the enforcement of the NY UNSAFE Act when he takes over. He said this in the media.
I haven't outed anyone.

As far as the NYSP go, Their barracks is only a few miles away from the sheriffs dept. Uhm, I think that they know
the stance that the former and current sheriff and the DA have concerning the enforcement of the NY UNSAFE Act

The Erie County sheriff was very vocal about not enforcing the unconstitutional NY UNSAFE Act.
He said this over and over on the 3 Buffalo TV news stations and also on the Buffalo radio stations.
And also the Buffalo News paper... And I am outing people? ... that's fucking laughable.
