Exactly. The system is seriously broken when appointed officials start acting like a fourth branch of government, yet there are no repercussions for them. She can arbitrarily choose to go after an organization like the NRA and force them to waste countless dollars to fight things in court. Not that I'm a fan of the NRA or the abuse that Wayne LaPierre is lijely guilty of, but nonetheless these leftists are relentless and annoying.
How come there are not Republican Attorneys General going after the Clinton foundation and other such organizations?

And as I have said before NRA had the opportunity in the 2018 primary to tell members/constituents to vote for anyone other than her. NRA had a reasonable shot at pushing her aside for one of the others who did not have a personal vendetta against them. NRA did nothing. With low turnout in a 4-way race James won 40% of the vote. She then walked through the general election.

I'm a certified instructor and RSO.
I disagree with quite a bit of their internal politics (being polite as hell)
But we CANNOT LET the NRA fail. That would damage gun rights immeasurably. It would embolden the left to do the same to the SAF, GAO (which I'm also a member of).

Don't laugh. Elected Democrats come right out and say that is the problem, not so much guns themselves. I have spoken to Democrat party functionaries who are NRA members from the NYC area.
NRA has to have tens of thousands of registered Democrats as members and you don't need a lot to swing a primary. Turnout for the '18 was about 23%.

Zypher Teachout the Fordham law professor and friend of Shannon Watts who was supported by Bloomberg, Moms Demand Action, Everytown, and Giffords during her 2016 run for NY19 against Faso.
Sean Patrick Maloney, the former Clinton Press Secretary and anti gun Congressman from NY18 who was also endorsed by Bloomberg, Moms Demand Action, Everytown, Giffords, and the Parkland Students.
Leecia Eve, daughter of gun control advocate former Assemblyman Aurthur Eve, former FUAC chief economic development advisor, previous Joe Biden Aid, previous Clinton Aid, and current FUAC Port Authority Commissioner who attacked Zypher Teachout for not being Anti Gun enough and ridiculed Teachout for being raised on a farm where her father had shotgun in the barn.
So, who was the NRA going to support in the Democratic Primary as you suggest?

As a gun owner I’m NOT required to be an NRA member, further more I refuse to join any “club” that requires me to give my hard earned money to a bunch of crooks in order to shoot on their property.

I didn't say support. They very simply could have said James is the worst of the bunch, go vote for anyone but her. Elections are a choice, not a referendum on the issue. Candidates do not have to be perfect.

Who did the GOA suggest their democratic members support in the 2018 NYAG Primary? I am not a registered democrat, so that may be why I don't know who they suggested.
I have personally talked to Teachout and Maloney and been at their debates. They are not friends of the second amendment. Lee says they are not anti-gun enough. Clue me in who you picked.

Bullshit, you are recommending a lobbying organization should split their pro 2A clout in a Democratic primary amongst three out of four anti 2A candidates. I hope you are being satirical because this can not be taken seriously.
None of the pro 2A groups who I gave money suggested an anyone but James strategy except for the general election. I can not fault them since the four Dems all REALLY sucked and would likely pull this same or similar shit right now.

I think James was probably the weakest of the candidates running. She's doing this to score political points for herself. I don't think she has enough of a moral compass to hate NRA or gun owners. NRA made them selves a target when these misdeeds came to light. I'd bet monet Bloomturd made her promises for future support for suing.
Second, she hasn't done her party any favors picking this fight right before an election. She gave gun owners something to rally against when gun rights weren't being talked about. You wouldn't know it from posts here, but in a lot of the US, NRA is still held in high regard, despite the misdeeds of the leadership. This might sway a bunch of in the middle voters to cast a vote for Trump. Or motivate them to go vote instead of sitting this one out.

I did try some searches and could not find it.
Seriously, I can not fault you for not posting primary NYAG guidance for the 2018 election (they were all unacceptable and there really was no lesser of four evils) but suggesting others should have in that primary is stupid.
edit .. BTW, never have been a fanboy of WLP or TK. I also gave money to James' general election opponent.

I stand corrected. I concede Gun Politics of NY had an "anybody but James" but strategy.
Did you post it on this forum? If I saw it I would haved coached you on the futility of splitting your influence three ways.
James was the candidate I personally never met, but never heard anything but bad. I personally knew the other three were nightmares. I actively worked supporting candidates in the past running in opposition Teachout and Maloney's congressional runs. I met Lee briefly in Buffalo years ago (she was hanging around Spitzer people), she was a political tool and anti-gun. I really believe all four of these choices would be pulling this same crap based on the Spitzer, Cuomo, and Schneiderman staff still in the AG office. Hell, for that matter the temporary Underwood would be going along with this too.

I was interviewed by Reuters this week with regards to the state of New York’s legal efforts to force the NRA’s dissolution based on charges of corruption against Wayne and his management team.
As many of you know, years ago I helped to lead the charge in social media to kick Wayne and his sycophant board members out of the organization after they came out in support of banning bump stocks.
Many voices in social media have been trying to push for much needed change across many social media platforms from YouTube to Facebook, including the efforts of a group known as Save the Second.
Our efforts were further validated when newly appointed President Oliver North stepped down and publicly aired much of Wayne’s dirty laundry. This public breakup served to cast light on the charges of corruption and the NRA’s inability to fight for our rights.
Even today, despite everything that’s been made public about the NRA’s dirty dealings, many NRA members refuse to listen. It’s becoming harder and harder for even the most devout NRA members to deny Wayne and his cronies are rotten to the core and they’re not just wrecking the organization, but they’re harming our ability to effectively defend our 2A rights.
We must continue to fight to kick Wayne and his management team out and restructure the NRA so that the members have control of the organization so many rely on to defend our 2A rights.
