Well, So serve. Lets hear it. I like a good yarn now and then.Greetings group! My name is Carl Gottstein and I work at New York State Riffle & Pistol Association. I wanted to join this forum to better serve NY's 2A community by better understanding the thoughts and issues that most concern fellow NY gun owners.
Just here for my obligatory FUCK the NRA...
I'm pretty sure this account won't be active all that long around here.
Taking bets 4 to 1 odds.. how long until its not posting any more..
1 to 12 month guesses, 1 month increments
He's the president of NYSRPA. He did a great job of making an ass of himself on the old forum shortly after the 2013 rallies.Well I don't think this guy is going to get past one posting.
Fuck the NRA... and I actually don't even know who this Tom King is, but ive learned enough in this thread to now have an opinion ok the turn coat...

NYFirearms.com proclaimed, "Tom King is not one of us!" and...
@Carl Gottstein - and your rebuttal sir ????
@dsdmmat, if that ever happened could you give me a little leeway on the personal attack thing?might as well have FUAC join the forum
Taking that action would be foolish.Ok I'm changing my betting pool.
Taking bets on if @Carl Gottstein will make more than just this one single original post..
Anyone willing to bet he actually comes back for even just one more post/comment?
Serious question (semi serious anyway)
Was the OP hoping to establish a dialog to clear the air or is he just thar out of touch?
I also have to say that this is what we get for expecting thar any organization will fix our problems just by throwing money at them. This fight cannot be won with a top down approach. We need to focus on the bottom end grass roots level. When we donate our money it should be tonthe legal funds of the people struggling on an individual basis in the courts, we should donate to specific individuals and organizations fight specific battles against specific legislation, wherever they may be.
Blanket funding is ineffective and just leads to corruption.
Taking that action would be foolish.
i might have to give the entire forum membership leeway.@dsdmmat, if that ever happened could you give me a little leeway on the personal attack thing?
I still see people wearing NRA merch daily... there are fools out there, I'm just here to help them

I think He'll come back at least once. I wouldn't expect him to stay too long after post #2, but I think we'll get that from him.
I'll take that. $ 2.Hmmm
I will give you 5 to 1
You are definitely doing a shitty job of defending Tom's work "without hesitation". Then again, I'm sure you all at NYSRPA are far more concerned with your image and grifting than you are with our thoughts or actually fighting for the 2A. The best thing the NYSRPA could do for gun owners is to not exist.Last but not least I work with Tom King every day, I have been working by his side for the last several years and I often read unkind things & untruthful things posted here on this forum about Tom and about NYSRPA, I will defend Tom's work and his character and the dedicated efforts made by the staff here at NYSRPA without hesitation.
