If Roberts sides with the majority, he gets to assign a justice to write the opinion, or he can write it himself. If Roberts sides with the commies and our side prevails, Thomas, as the senior justice, gets to assign a justice to write the opinion, or he could write it himself.

Based upon Roberts questioning, it would seem as he isn't siding with the dark side. He actually had one of the most logical and funny questions to NYS against thier argument. Would still want to see Thomas write the opinion as I believe his opinion wouldn't be clearer and side more heavily with the 2A.

Wait until you see the concealed carry licensing scheme that NYS will instate. They'll require 200 hours of live fire with a state-acredited instructor in the northwest corner of the state on one of two available months per year. The course will be limited to 10 students. The waiting list for enrollment will be 5 years.

I got it from the documentation that supported the passage of the SAFE Act and the recent slate of gun control legislation signed by our 2A-supporting governor.
Hmmm...upon further reading, I think that they will actually require 200 hours of live fire instruction per year to remain proficient after an initial 1000 hour training course to be conducted each leap year.
