The "dumb shit" spewed here is usually just a restatement of New York State legislation and law. It is very difficult to get dumber than that.

Kind of like shit?I'm guessing this one will come out sooner than later.
I live where the busses don't run. There are many reasons for this. This type of thing is one of those reasons. My neighbor is a service vet. We agree on many things and both hate the criminal lawlessness we see in NY.I will probably stay home that day, but if I need to go out I will probably bring something more than my usual carry.
I don't think I have to worry about a riot making it to my house LOL

I'm guessing this one will come out sooner than later. It's the oldest case on their docket.
Depends on their fiber intake.Kind of like shit?
NICE!
(I needed that. I actually snickered a bit in my office.)

They will just make everywhere a sensitive area. Expedite the micro stamping. And probably some other bullshit.Hochul already threatening countermeasures.
New York Officials Fear Supreme Court Ruling Will Mean More Gun Crime (Published 2022)
The Supreme Court is expected to rule on — and possibly overturn — a century-old law that allows local officials great discretion over who can carry a handgun.www.nytimes.com
In New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul has said that she would consider calling a special session of the State Legislature if the law were overturned. And after a shooting in Buffalo last month in which a teenager motivated by racism killed 10 Black people at a grocery store, she brought up the law unprompted, saying that her administration was “preparing our state for what could be a Supreme Court decision that allows people to carry concealed weapons. We’re ready.”
A spokeswoman for the governor declined to elaborate further on the preparations.

Because they're exempt from laws and we have to try to keep ourselves on the straight-and-narrow.Can you believe a couple of troopers are getting paid $150k+ a year to read this stuff and we're doing it for free?
Nothing again. @Edwardteach72 is probably spot on with June 30.
I am a former LE and even I don't like what I see going on. Making cops a "special class" of citizens whose only job is to keep the elite "ruling class" safe in Capitol City! It is just like hunger games more and more.Because they're exempt from laws and we have to try to keep ourselves on the straight-and-narrow.
i want to know now .. LOL .. do i need buy more beer or popcorn that day lol
You left out buying another gun.i want to know now .. LOL .. do i need buy more beer or popcorn that day lol
I love the sentiment, but the reality is the potential ruling affects less than 10 states. Additionally, it would be hard to top the spike in sales over the last 2 years. And being pragmatic, we still don't know how they have ruled.Either way it goes, the day after the ruling will result in the largest single-day sales of firearms in US history. Yup....
Roberts joined the majority so he could be in charge. He was the one that made Scalia give liberal cities some wiggle room with Heller so I don’t see how he allows Thomas to write it. I think he assigns it to ACB who he thinks he can control as she’s a newbee. He has stated he wanted a 2A case for years. I strongly believe he with be writing this.
Not to be a downer but I see NY appealing the ruling. By appealing, I mean they’ll continue business as usual and rely on the lower court judges to interpret SCOTUS decision in NY’s favor if anyone else sues them for not following SCOTUS. District judges in NY will grant extension after extension so the first case will take 18 months from SCOTUS decision. Then on to 2nd circuit again, they’ll kick it back down to district. It’ll be at best 2 years before a single remedy is seen from SCOTUS decision.Either way it goes, the day after the ruling will result in the largest single-day sales of firearms in US history. Yup....
