Old handguns, no plastic junk!

Now that I got your attention, how about older semi-autos and wheel guns? You know like Browing Hi-Powers, Old Colt 1911's, milsurp handguns, single action revolvers? Plastic guns bore the living crap out of me. I have a couple and that is about it. To me new guns are like new cars, they come off a "cookie cutter" assembly line. So, am I one of the few on here who think like this? What odd-ball older handguns do you have? The odd ball below is a WWI Colt frame on a WWII Remington Rand slide. The guns looks like it went to hell and back but it shoots really well. I also acquired a Ruger Blackhawk in 30 Carbine (not pictured).

Saw this on the net, Model 19 FS French Police contract.

The letter prefix for those 3” model 19’s should be RS , not FS.
S&W actually made a special run 200 3” 19’s for the french police back in 1973 per the request of the then head of security for the French president. His name was Raymond Sasia. He was a French shooting instructor who trained with our FBI in Quantico .
The 1 of 50 pertains to an additional run of 50 of the same guns S&W produced for the civilian market to see if it would sell as a production gun.

IMHO, chest holsters are the way to go for carrying around heavy revolvers that are quickly accessible. I picked a similar one (Diamond D Guide's Choice) for my S&W. Very pricey, but well-made and can easily be tailored to an individual's stature and girth.

Not old but certainly not polymer. This is my CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical with a Leopold Deltapoint pro that i use for uspsa carry optics.
