How long did she have to wait for an appointment to start the process? I hear they are scheduling appointments for finger prints in January 2022.

She made the appointment for fingerprints in December and the appointment was for January. 6 weeks. One month later she returned the application with references. One month later was the interview. Two months later the approval.

My wife received her permit approval letter Saturday.

Total time from application submission to permit issuance was 3 months.



You were correct. The interview was with a detective handling her file. No judge interview. The detective interview was March 26th.

Somebody should have been playing mega millions last week. 3 months from beginning to end, my wife is at 10 months and another couple I know are at 8 months.

I just dropped one off today at the clerks office. No issue they are saying 4 - 6 weeks.
I was thinking, if I put it in the mail on a Friday it would probably be 4 or 5 days before it got to the clerks office.

I called them on Tuesday and they said mail only so I mailed it from Goshen Post Office and they said they would have it Wednesday.

You can drop them off at the Govt center. Turn around time is actually better ......hearing some in less than 2 weeks.

Mailed mine the afternoon of 12/17/21. It's ridiculous that in a "pro-2a" county we can't go in person and get our amendment to the on the spot like some other counties but I'm hoping for only a 3 week wait.

29 days today and waiting still. There's got to be some way to change this system in our "pro-2a" county.

Called the county clerk's office today. 32 days and it's still on the judge's desk. As a group we need to push for this shit system to be overhauled. There's other counties that get it to you in a day or two and others that give you a slip so you can pick up your property and they update the "hard card" later. There's no excuse why we can't have the same.
