I’ve always enjoyed Pauls videos. Anybody else?
Plenty of time to call 911 and wait for the boys in blue then eh?Who the hell is shooting from under their covers?
I guess im just used to having dogs, I will know someone is in our home long before I see them.
I will have time to put my shoes on, turn on the lights, decide which gun to use.............
I watch his videos. I think he skews the results by going with the heaviest for caliber on what he likes and going for the lightest for caliber on what he doesn't like but I still watch his videos for informational purposes regardless.Quick, delete this before Will comes to whine...
Ive never even seen a cop around here.Plenty of time to call 911 and wait for the boys in blue then eh?
Accepting a drink from Bill Cosby?Ive never even seen a cop around here.
It would be 20 minutes before they reach here.
Cops around here welcome the help taking out the bad guys.
Im saying nobody is sneaking in my room making me do something as stupid as shooting from under the covers.
I cant think of much more dangerous or dumb as sleeping with a loaded gun under your covers while you sleep.
I wonder if he ever spiked any pudding pops????Accepting a drink from Bill Cosby?
Yeah, I get it. It was a tounge in cheek comment. However, if you watched the video and listened to the commentary you would know that he did the experiment based on a question posed by a viewer. He wasn’t advocating one way or another.Ive never even seen a cop around here.

I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. First you would have to identify what his supposed likes are and correlatenthat to his ammo selection which would be flawed in itself since, for whatever reason, he relies on brick and mortar stores which have limited choices in selection.I watch his videos. .............Um is that an invitation?I wonder if he ever spiked any pudding pops????
I like pudding pops.
If you watch all his videos, he clearly says that .40 is superior.I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. Then there is the fact that heavy for caliber ammunition is not necessarily the best performing choice. In 9mm for example the 124gr is on par or better than the other weights.
If you watch all his videos, he clearly says that .40 is superior.
And if you are gonna shoot cinder blocks with FMJ, heavy for caliber does better. It also helps if you shoot them in the same place. This is a guy that can put 2 or 3 shots in one hole.
If you are going to do videos for profit, there should be no excuse for not getting the right ammo.
In that one video I posted, it pained him to admit that the Xtreme Penetrator did better than the hollow point though the car door. In his previous video, he used 9mm with the meat targets. Than he tried the car door with .40 thinking that the heavier hollow point would do better. It didn't. He should have stuck with 9mm for the test to keep things consistent but he knew the 9mm 115 gr hollow point wouldn't do well against the car door so he tried it in .40.
Everything else is cool. It isn't minute to me when comparing ammo and then at the end of the video saying that one is better than the other.Of the three big defensive calibers the .40 is superior, in terms of energy anyway.
You are still reading way too much into his ammo selection. Once again such seems to driven by availability as much as anything.
You are focusing on minutiae at the expense of missing the point. None of his videos are to be taken as the definitive, end all say, a point Paul repeatedly belabors in his videos. He is simply putting out data and he does it using unique parameters and methods you don't see elsewhere.
Also while my personal preference in firearms tends very much to the modern and "tactical" side of things I think its refreshing and if value that in his vidoes Paul showcases things like revolvers and lever guns quite often as these ate the tupes of guns that are universally accessible in this country and yet are very often overlooked when we are talking about self defense.
I also enjoy his dry, sardonic delivery and he doesn't take himself too seriously.
That's a flawed comparison to begin with regardless of bullet weights. This highlights my point that maybe you are looking at these videos in the wrong way.If I used a 45gr .223 instead of using a 77 gr against a .300 Blackout, I can say that the .300 does better at long distance.
Am I going to have to post the video and do a play by play? Lol. It's late man. That's a flawed comparison to begin with regardless of bullet weights. This highlights my point that maybe you are looking at these videos in the wrong way.
I'm afraid you might have to because I'm just not seeing it the way you are.Am I going to have to post the video and do a play by play? Lol. It's late man.
