Permit Amendments in Westchester

It's bad enough Westchester drop sportsperson Amendment in July. Only target, hunting , employment, Primise business and dwelling, full carry and other ones. I was about to send in the amendment when I saw the new updated form so nevermind.

I'm not %100 sure so don't take my word maybe when your renewal time comes they might downgrade You to hunting which I really hope that's not the case

I'm 4 weeks in and was told on Friday that it's with the public safety office and to call back in two weeks. I'm still not sure if there issuing this licence type, but for the life of me can't understand why they would take my app and money(hand delivered). I did just read this on the Westchester site;
Firearm License Application Forms
Effective Dec. 1, 2018, forms issued before July 24, 2018 will not be accepted.
Issue dates are found on the bottom left corner of the form.

Perhaps it's due to the fact that I had the original form with a 10/2017 date, not really sure at this point, just thought I'd add my situation.

I didn’t think they could get any dumber. So before Dec 1st, you’re ok. After Dec 1st you had to submit before July 24th to be ok. I don’t get how that makes me any safer?

Makes no sense to me either! Worse part is, my Wilson Combat EDC X9 is sitting with my FFL and I can't submit my paperwork for that until this is over, which is a whole other story! SMH

That's what I've been reading. But like I posted earlier, if that is the case, for the life of me I can't understand why they wouldn't have told me that when I was at the counter handing in my money and form. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Quick update, called the clerk and was told that it has been signed off by the detective and the captain and is now with the commissioner. The women told me to call back after Thanksgiving.

Update on mine. 6 weeks more or less door to door including a safe inspection.
