Eddie , chill man. why the hostility?
What hostility..
If bump stocks aren't protected, then neither are folding stocks??
Calling people snow flakes and putting words in their mouths . whats the Issue ? Trump banned bump stocks?
So are you saying that bumpstocks aren't protected but a folding stock is??
Oh here we go with the 4D intergalactic chess
Also imagine being such a snowflake you have to even use the ignore button
I said nothing, I asked a question.
Yes trump did
As per GOP above bumpstocks aren't protected so they can be banned..
Well then based on that folding stocks aren't protected and therefore the safe act is ok.
OK so what? it never infringed on the 2nd A.
Where did I say they were not protected. I looked, I cannot find the statement.
How didnt it??
Keep reading buttercup
Can you make this easy for me? Tell me the post number.
Just saw that, thank you.
Neither is a trigger. Its really simple. Its not a firearm. its not protected under the law ,thought that obvious enough.
"Shall not be infringed." Why is it that you would take the ATF's classification for what is a protected or non-protected item as gospel? Banning bump stocks was not about whether or not I wanted a bump stock. It's whether or not I had the RIGHT (which I do).
With your logic, an outright ban on solar reflectors for vehicle windshields would be legal, as it wouldn't ban the ownership of a vehicle itself. And as friggin stupid and pointless solar reflectors are for vehicles, I would never tell someone they shouldn't be able to use one.
The same is true for bump stocks. Whatever helps you sleep at night GOPerfect, that's fine with me. Just know that as a patriot; someone who TRULY supports liberty, I support the 2nd amendment to its fullest extent. Regardless of what you feel we should or shouldn't have, I still support your right to keep and bear arms.
This is why I have a hard time getting behind law enforcement these days. A lot of you say you support the constitution and the 2nd amendment, right up until the point that you don't. The excuses I hear some of you making that justify supporting someone like Trump, are the same excuses I hear when LEO's are shutting down businesses by executive order, justifying it by saying, "well, I'm just following orders."
I have family in LE that I wouldn't trust to uphold the constitution for this reason. It's the mental gymnastics you have to perform to justify these infringements that scares me. It shows that there's no limit to the tyranny most of our boys in blue will go to bat for.
It's sad because I have a tremendous amount of respect for the job and the people that do it. I just don't trust them.
Again, with the lack of reading comprehension, that apparently you are lacking, nowhere did I say I support the ban on this stock.
I asked a question and you creamed your pants in anticipation of saying something worth while, which you have not as of yet.

Neither is a trigger.
BAN.
Ooops don't forget the barrel, that's not technically a firearm either.
BAN.
And those pesky firing pins that make the bullets go boom.
BAN.
See how slippery of a slope this mentality is? Pretty soon the only "legal" firearm we can buy is a serialized lower. Owning any of the other parts that actually make it functional would be a felony.
